The snow capped mountains sparkled against the faint glow of the moon. The foggy air slowly crept across the countryside road. only signs of any life were the occasional flickers of a stray Volbeat tail. The night itself seemed to radiate peace and serenity. Even time itself seemed to warp around this strange sanctuary, leaving the area totally calm and seperated from the world.

An orange glow radiated from a winded man, hurriedly walking down the beaten path. Flying several feet above him, a green insect with blades for arms kept watch. The man, seeing that no one was in his direct path, pulled back his hood, revealing his long black hair, which blew back in the wind. His Bound War Ax in one hand, his Frostbite spell in the other, Reven cautiously walked in a circle, sensing another person.

"Reveal yourself, Khajiit," Reven barked, recognizing the musty smell of a cat's fur. Reven's pokemon, Siri, dropped from the sky, her blades at the ready. The Scyther must have smelled the Khajiit as well, as she was just as aware as Reven was.

"Mm?" McDuff wondered, as he thought he heard a voice. He had a headache, and no idea what he had been doing with himself for the past day. Judging from the empty bottles around him, the fact that he was lying in a snowdrift in nothing but a pair of boxers and his Colovian Fur Helm, he decided perhaps it would be better if he didn't know. He turned, and saw a man accompanied by a Scyther.
"What can Khajit do for you?" He asks, as behind him, a Doduo approaches.

Reven was a little startled to see the Khajiit in the condition that he was. Boxers and a helmet in the freezing cold conditions of Northern Skyrim must have meant he was either attacked and pickpocketed, a runaway like Reven, or completely insane. None the less, Reven knew to not underestimate the sitting man. He kept his Bound Ax out and inched closer to the Khajiit. Siri followed closely behind, though she was more focused on the Doduo behind the man.

"What are you doing here?" Reven asked.

"To be frank, McDuff would rather not know." The Khajit says, nodding as he puts on a robe that was next to him. "I could ask you the same thing." He continues, searching in the snow, and taking out a Skooma pipe.

Deciding it was an okay situation, Reven sheathed his Bound Ax. Siri, however, was no where near as trusting. The Scyther stepped in front of Reven, taking a protective stance.

"Judging by the pile of drinks around you, you got drunk, wandered off, and drank some more until you passed out. No matter, I won't quiz you further," Reven said. "And like you, I've simply wandered off," Reven lied.

"Really? Got any moon sugar on you?" McDuff asks, patting the Scyther on the head. Meanwhile own head pounded with a sensation not unlike that of being broken to pieces with a slice of lemon wrapped around a large gold brick.

"No, I'm afraid I do not," Reven grumbled. Maybe that's why McDuff was in the condition that he was. Moon sugar definitely could ruin lives. Siri hit McDuff's hand with the blunt of her blade, not accepting the affection. She growled at McDuff and jumped back from the Khajiit.

McDuff was saddened by the Scyther's behavior, and tried to make friends with it by rubbing his head against it and purring.

Siri growled further and swung her blade down on McDuff, this time with ill intent. She quickly retreated further after she aimed to cut him.
