Well I thought that the Underground was an awesome idea and all but... Why couldn't it be used over the WFC? I know you can use the DS wireless communication to play with friends, but all the friends I have who own and play the game live to far to be getting together to play in the Underground all the time. Why couldn't Nintendo have made a feature to also let us play in the Underground over WFC? It makes me sad T-T.

(I realize I spelled Dilemma wrong...)

Why don;t we also complain at contests not being playable through wifi, or Poffin making.

I always worry about people finding my digging spots and start taking all my lv99 spheres. Online would be fun, but I like the controllable format in local right now. Like "L" said, I'd prefer that contest were online. Now that would have been cool! Here's hoping for the third game!

The poffin making I can understand, since the delay issue could cause a problem. The contests have been discussed before in some other thread I believe, I was just taking that discussion another step to the underground.

As for your spheres, they could have made the underground DSW and WFC. Same as with the contests they could have done so. Sadly they didn't... =(

Let's just hope they kept those features out so that their third game would actually have something good.

I'm pretty sure that only the person who buries something can dig it up...

Don't worry: only the person that buries the spheres can dig them up. (Which, unfortunately, keeps me and my friends from exchanging Prism and Pale Spheres. *sigh*) Sadly, the same cannot be said for your traps. ;_;

Sadly, earlier today I figured that they might have kept those features out on purpose to give game three more pull. :/ It's the only explaination *I* can come up with as to why they'd gloss over such obvious areas for Wi-fi connectivity.

Doesn't change the fact that my Diamond secret base will be forever full of rocks, but oh well.

and how would they have room for all those secret base

Hmm. It would work if the only people you encounter would be people on your friend roster thing.

Another thing. WHY is the WFC for the Fight Tower so pathetic? I expected to actually fight somebody, and it was a computer anyways!

Well, all it is (as you probably know) is people uploading their teams, then the computer uses them against you.

Not nearly as good as real Wi-Fi battles, but then again, it's a good way to fight all kinds of different Pokes with a wide array of abilities.

Yeah, and thats what makes it annoying. Because since its a computer it doesn't use strategy or anything, its all just luck.

True, but you can get to see how lots of living people construct their teams, even if there's no human strategy involved.

I agree it's too bad you can't battle real people globally, but that's probably a difficult and resource-intensive thing to implement (Nintendo would need extra servers, maintenance staff, stuff like that if 5,000 or 10,000 people are online all the time looking for battles... at least, I think they would).

Considering how big the underground is and how much battery life it takes up on its own, I think I'm glad they don't have it for Wifi.
