Not sure what you were planning for the scientist fellow but you may want to have him quickly escape or something. Unless he is really a good guy in disguise. But even then I am not so sure that the mutants would not want to try to get revenge. Although it might be too early in the story for a confrontation like that.

It could also go in the direction of a wider evil plot or maybe a conspiracy theory or two.

Bironicus, you may also want to make a mutant yourself to control and have the RP be about us trying to find the truth or dealing with the new changes and how it affects society.

You're in an underground bunker in Goldenrod City, but your characters don't know that. You should react in the ways you would react in real life if a creepy old man had kidnapped you, put you in one of those pods from the matrix and mutated you with a pokemon.

That could work but if he did make an appearance then it would be good not to have Mewtwo do much more than make a cameo or something minor. Legendary pokemon tend to be too close to Godmoding to use very often.

I totally agree with you on this. Also, I think we shouldn't assume Mewtwo is on 'our side'. He did prove to be driven mainly by vengeance and he only cares about himself actually, so I don't think he could be an actual ally. Unlike Steelix, who is a great alloy

Yeah, your right. Mewtwo could end up trying to kill us all...that could be cool if we all fought hi at some point. But that was just an idea...

And not a bad one either! Suggestions are always good, because they make people think about the story, thereby helping to develop it, be it directly or indirectly. Development is good :3

Yeah, I started late too. For future reference it's a common courtesy to mention people in startups.

It is actually pretty hard to decide what to do when there isn't a lot of people doing the thread at a time.

I have found that the best way to rp in most cases is to leave your character open to interaction from other players but not to make your characters actions overly dependent on the group because that usually leads to getting stuck. (people get busy IRL, etc)

it's a common courtesy to mention people in startups.

Okay, so I have a pretty cheeky question to ask you all: Would any of you mind if I posted in the RP while still being on the reserve list? Bironicus seems to have gone away for a while and I'm aching to participate in the story!

If any of you has any objections against this, I won't post in the RP yet. Otherwise I'll place my first post tomorrow morning.

Go for it! I suppose that there is a small chance that your character could still get rejected for some reason but since Bironicus put you in the original mention, I think that is close enough for the time being.

Alright, thanks! I'm still gonna wait till tomorrow though, since there might be someone else who doesn't think this is a good idea. (although I think I could be quite useful in the story at the moment. Anyone in need of jump cables?)

I just did, but some people have been telling me they don't know how to incorporate their character into the story. Any ideas on how I could help? I'm a bit lost...

Also, I'm going to introduce my own mutant into the story who's the daughter of the scientist. She is a mutation of Kirlia who has evolved in Gardevoir through the years she has been a mutant. (You'll find out more wen I add her too the plot...)
