Well, this is my first RPG on this forum, and my first non-IRC RPG in quite a while, so I hope it kicks off rather well </firstRPG>
The Plot:
In this strange world, only Pokemon exsist...
They enjoy their everyday lives...
Their towns, their landmarks, their prosperity...
Are all their hard work...
Lately though, lots of strange things have been happening in this world. There are lots of shady Pokemon running about, and the crime rate seems to have gone up. There are more cloudy days than usual. And the strangest thing yet is the appearance of several Pokemon whom come from a parallel world full of Humans! These Humans turned Pokemon signal one thing in this world though: The coming of a terrible prophecy!
In this prophecy, a dark and evil entity is said to arise. This evil entity would then, locate the descendants of Eevee's sacred family. After locating them, the vile villain would then gather them, and drain them of their power. This would unlock an everlasting dark power for the villain, and plunge the world into an eternal nightmare-ish state. The prophecy foretells that if this villain isn't stopped, he shall have a dark, and terrifying reign over the world. A dark castle would loom over the gray grounds, and a sadistic monarchy would begin...
However, the coming of a Human actually signifies hope, as the same prophecy fortells that the hero whom will rise to defeat the vile Pokemon will come from another world. They will have to find their inner Pokemon strength and defeat the evil villain.
Meanwhile though, the government of a large and famous town is growing out of hand. The executive chief of the Water Branch, Spheal, is abusing his powers to no end. He is hiring thugs to collect money from the poor Pokemon to fund his ridiculous programs and faulty politics. Tension is building in the town as the government falls apart within.
So then, what do you do? Will you fight the villain and prevent the prophecy from happening? Will you take on the collapsing government and create peace? Perhaps you will do both? Or maybe will you do neither and help the corrupt government and evil entity? That choice, is yours to make!
A word from the Gamemaster:
I'm okay with unlimited characters, but I'd also like a diverse cast, so don't be frightened if a character limit suddenly shows up. The only exception to any imposed limit is the introduction of an important plot character. Most of these characters however, will probably be played by myself, in order to keep the plot a little stable in that department. However, I'm also open to any interesting plot twists too. Infact, I love good plot twists, especially when the plot is linear and predictable otherwise, like this one. Obviously, a plot like this will involve violence. Cursing is also allowed, to a point. I ask must be omitted. Also avoid over using these words in posts.
Another thing: Even though the rules state no godmodding, I must ask that you not godmod. If I overstep the boundary a little bit, tell me so (I don't want to get banned for doing something I wasn't really aware I was doing). Sometimes trying to make interesting character weakness makes me look like I'm godmodding:dead:, but unless it is over that line, I assure you I always have a good reason plot wise to do what I'm doing. But it can be easily modified if I'm overstepping. (In otherwords, I'm used to situations where the gamemaster has borderline godmodding powers to make for an interesting plot line)

Name: Put your characters name/nick here. If the character's name is the same as the species name, omit one of the fields.
Species: Specify the species. If the Character's name is the same as it's species, then omit either this field or the names
Gender: Specify the gender of your character. Don't feel ashamed of playing characters whom are not your gender.
Age: Identify the age of your character. If your character is 6 for example, I don't want to see them yelling curse words =P
Nativity: Where is your character from? Are the from the large town, a more rural area, a dark place, or are they from the Human realm? This is an important part of the plot, so be sure to fill it out.
Personality: Put a description of their personality here. Be as brief or as elaborate as you like. (I probably won't read a teeming 3 paragraph personality analysis fully though =P)
History: What's this characters story? How did the end up where they are now? (If you were a human prior to the start of the plot, please describe their human life here before they turned into a Pokemon).
Quriks: Any interesting features of your character? Do they have odd physical traits, or do they have a laugh that just irritates people? This field is completely optional, and may be ommited if it doesn't apply.
Alliance: Are you good or are you bad? Are you going to save the world or fix the government? Or are you going to help one or both of the evil peoples? (Note: If you want your alliance to be secret to the other cast and characters, you may PM me this field instead of posting it to make the plot more interesting.)
You may also list additional fields I did not include in this sign up sheet, but those are the minimum requirements. Once I post and approve of your character(s), you may post in the actual RP topic and begin having fun!
