Whats up RPG subforum! This is something i've been wanting to do for a while, it is a very member driven roleplay, so I hope you join, and enjoy.

Backstory

With the funding of ex champions, Red and Gold of Kanto and Johto, four years ago a new ranger base was set up, built on a small island just north of Mountain Silver, the ranger base holds a lot on this island, being the only building there it has the whole island for its self. Some notable buildings they have are; Ranger School, A protected pokemon area, where no one can capture any pokemon there, an Illusion/Training centre, and much more.

Every year, a new bunch of younger people pass the test to become a ranger, over two thousand people applied this year, and only three hundred passed the theory test. Out of these three hundred, only seventy-five passed the camping out section of the test. You are one of the seventy five people who are now about to take part in the physical test, a gruelling trial to climb to the outpost, around half way up Mt. Silver, and once you pass, you become a fulle fledged ranger. Ready to take quests, and make legends for yourself.

This RP is mostly aimed at newer RPers like myself, however of course anyone can join.

Name: Sanford Mesift

Age: 16

Backstory: Born in the Desert Resort (as in the Black 2 town), Sanford has always been surrounded by sand and enjoyed exploring what the desert had to offer. When he was little, Sanford decided to explore the nearby ancient castle, when he suddenly got caught in a pit of quicksand! Screaming for help, the young boy was lucky enough to be heard by a ranger in the area. With a whip and flash of his styler, the Ranger befriended a Sigilyph who used Psychic to save Sanford. This experience eventually shaped Sanford’s goals for him as he set out to become a ranger.

Appearance: He has shaggy, brown hair that only cover his tan forehead and squinted eyes from his living conditions. He usually wears a simple t-shirt and shorts combo with sandals or sneakers accordingly to the weather.

Partner Pokemon: Trapinch

Other: Also because of his native desert environment, his calloused skin lets him survive in more extreme weather.

Name: Kiyoko Matsumoto
Gender: Female
Age: 14
Personality: Kiyoko is level-headed and down to earth most of the time, often playing the straight man to someone else's shenanigans. She gets snarky and sarcastic when irritated, and she gets shy when someone comments on her height or red hair. When anyone is threatened or bullied, she becomes volatile and will fight for their safety. She is fearless for the most part, but fears being judged for being different. She suffers from social anxiety and stutters when addressed by someone she doesn't know. She's smart enough to be a leader, but lacks the people skills to try.
Backstory: TBR
Appearance: Kiyoko is frightening tall for a 14-year-old Japanese girl at 6 feet, has well-kept waist-length scarlet hair with bangs that frame her face, azure eyes, exactly 49 freckles on her face, slightly tanned skin and an athletic figure. She turns to track outfits for casual wear, and militaristic outfits for formal wear.

Other: She is adept at first aid and self defense.
