Once, in Pokémon World, there were Claim Threads. Mostly for fun, they were popular in their day, which lead to the introduction of a rule limiting them. But sadly, they ended up dying.
I would call them a fad. However, truth is, they didn't get the right amount of maintenance, especially when their keepers became inactive. As such, the Pokémon World staff is attempting to revive the most essential Claim Threads, in an effort to make your time here at Bulbagarden Forums more complete and enjoyable. Don't worry, this time we'll be taking care of them, so hopefully they won't die again.
You will be able to make your own claim threads in the future, but not right now, so just standby, and when the official relaunch is complete, you shall get more details.
Please do note, that during this time frame ANY attempts to create Claim Threads WILL result in the CLOSURE of the thread immediately.
And also to note is that any previous claims from the old threads will be nullified, and therefore, any claims you wish to keep, will have to be reclaimed.
