GEN VI: The search for Shiny Nidoran

I am currently in the search to locate a very specific Shiny Nidoran. This shiny Nidoran was the very first shiny Pokemon I had ever caught, years ago on Pokemon Soul Silver. I gave it to my friend a few years ago now as an appreciation gift for helping me.

This Nidoran was caught in Pokemon Soulsilver and does not have a nickname.

I am hoping that anyone who currently has a shiny Nidoran, to please post it's OT name and ID number so I can identify if it is mine.

I appreciate any and all help I'll receive in searching for Nidoran.

Why not ask your friend for it back? Friends keep in touch don't they. Hopefully he/she didn't delete their game and start over with it on their game.

That friend was actually me; I subsequently traded it away on the forums for something else and can't track down the original trade partner to ask them about it. He's just posting about it here on the off chance.

I knew my friend traded it away on the forums, hence why I'm here. I wouldn't need to track it down on the forums if my friend still had it.

This is a long shot. I don't even expect to find it. However I may as well attempt to look anyway. Hopefully people will start posting their information soon.

I actually have a 5IV 31 perfect Nidoran male that I bred level 1. So if you want that you can have it. I know you're looking for your first. Just saying you can have this even if you find your original or not.

That will not be necessary. There is only one reason as to why I want to track my Shiny Nidoran down, and that is because it was the very first Shiny Pokemon I ever captured by myself, excluding guaranteed Shiny Pokemon.

Ever since I caught a shiny Wailmer a few months back (which is the second Shiny Pokemon I've captured), I've had that feeling of wishing I had the Nidoran back with me, so that I had both 2 Shiny Pokemon I ever caught myself. Sentimental reasoning really, although I'm that kind of person.

That's cool, however all Nidoran male are the same accept in IV's. There are only 384 different ones based off of that alone! (shiny is 192 and non shiny is 192). It would be so easy to code the secret trainer ID onto the Pokemon and to Code the OT name and number onto the Pokemon that it's kinda hard to tell if it's actually the same one if you were to come across it. After all after you traded the Pokemon you actually deleted it's data from your game and sent a code to your friends game that perfectly copied the data that was deleted from yours. So your "original" one is actually gone and could never come back. Anyway hopefully you find what you're looking for.

I intentionally excluded the OT and ID of my Nidoran so that nobody could create an illegitimate one and pretend it is mine. It would be almost impossible for anyone to illegitimately create a Nidoran with the same OT and ID as mine.

Are you still looking for your original Nidoran? Because now it sounds like you're asking for any Nidoran in return. And I don't mean to be rude but if you're still looking for the original it may be better suited to a blog post where it would get more attention outside the normal regulars who visit trade.

I am still looking for my original Nidoran, I made another post to bring my thread back up to gain more attention before it went onto the second page.

I don't really use the blogs on here but I figured I'd get much more attention on trading threads than I would on a blog post. Although I suppose it wouldn't hurt to also make a blog as well.

The reasoning for my last post is because I am hoping anyone who DOES have a Shiny Nidoran or evolution will see this and kindly post their Nidoran's details on here, so I will know if it was my original Nidoran or not.

Bringing this thread back up, in the hopes that anyone with a shiny Nidoran or evolution of Nidoran will post it's details and help me get closer to finding my old Nidoran.
