Uh, ok, people seem to actually want to talk about this. Super cool.

The original idea was conceived when my friend said that we should make a Smogon legal team with the goal of losing the battle. NFEs weren't allowed, but I'm removing this rule now that the original idea is gone. The "Shit Tier" is basically Pokemon that aren't even useable in NU or RU or whatever the (benevolent?) overlords at Smogon want to call it. In order for this to work I think it's best to also suggest NFEs that could be added. Due to the low number of Pokemon that seem to be allowed I think it's best to just keep the allowed list rather than make a ban list.

Procedure for getting a Pokemon added:

Suggest it and it will be put up for review.

Procedure for getting a Pokemon on the list banned:

As was stated, this was a project started be me and my friend. What that means is that he made the list and tried to get one of every type on it. Something being overpowered and in need of being banned is completely reasonable.

To get this done post a set that would over power the rest of the "tier". If it is determined that nothing can actually counter this set or that very few Pokemon can counter it then the Pokemon in question will be banned.

Procedure for being added to the review board:

So if you really care enough about this and want to help with it, just ask. I'm thinking a board of seven will be good. This would include myself and possibly steelfire81, who made the original list and had the idea.

If you want to be on the board then all you really have to do is ask. No special application is necessary, the board will review your posts and stuff and decide if we think you are versed enough in competitive battling to be on the board. What could go wrong with a self regulating governing body?

Yes, this is just the lowest depths of RU (this Gen's pseudo-NU).
 
Volbeat and Bibarel are broken, especially together, with mischevious heart tail glow baton pass to simple bibarel getting a +6 special attack in 2 turns.
 
Ditto won't be Shit Tier when Imposter comes out. You might want to add Liepard, he's pretty terrible.
 
I've seen some incredibly successful uses of Arbok. I'm not too sure about his placement on this list.

This Arbok set would wreck this hypothetical tier.
 
Linoone could also wreck this tier. He really shouldn't be in here.

I really don't think you should be creating a tier based on your opinion of the Pokemon, tbh. You may find something useless and shitty and others may be able to use them with great skill
 
We just have to wait for RU to break into two tiers, and the lowest of that tier would be this tier.
 
I disagree with adding liepard.

While many see it weak, I agree, its defenses are crap but if trained properly that stab sucker punch would destroy this.

Trust me, I've wrecked some teams with the kat.
 
There is what, 1 steel type in a tier full of normal types? Thats probably not gonna work out, especially with ony 1 ghost tyoe (btw, bannette should be on the list). Also, I think coil and butterfly dance should be banned since they are probably overpowered in general.
 
Only Arbok has Coil. Therefore, Arbok should be "banned".
 
What is your criteria for a Pokemon being considered 'shit'? Usage statistics, BST, movepool, etc?
 
I think it's the factor of being completely unusable in even NU (or RU this gen).
 
Well, I think we need to narrow that down. Sure, Luvdisc is useless even in NU (RU, whatever) but things like Arbok have their uses and Raticate can work as a poor man's Swellow so it's not all bad. Hell, I've seen some pretty rape Linoone, and I even heard of some Ledian usage over in Ubers.

For baton pass maybe, but it's not one of the better abusers and NU is a notch below RU, I believe.
