Based off of the hit video game The Sims Medieval released in around 2010-2011.

Plot: It is the dawn of the new world. Humans have evolved to the point where they can find and seize land to inhabit. One particular group of people escapes from their cruel village of Stoneberg, and stumble upon new, unclaimed land. Upon entering the land, the people have no idea what to do and decide to elect a Monarch to rule over them. The Monarch quickly sets up a castle and a series of laws. After a while, people of all kinds begin moving into the village. Blacksmiths, Ministrels and many more enter the village and establish their homes. The Jacoban religion and the Peteran religion are formed and their rivalry quickly becomes fierece. The church is initially mocked and feared by the people but many people quickly become converted. As the kingdom begins to advance and new buildings are formed, more and more people move in, and with more people comes more drama. Assasination attempts, witches invading the kingdom and a rebellion against the Monarch. Will this kingdom rise above the drama or crumble before it even begins?

The Religions

Peteran Faith
The Peteran followers believe in a God known as "The Watcher", unlike the Jacobans, the Peterans believe that the Watcher is kind, merciful and compassionate. The Peterans are much more humble than the Jacobans. The Peteran religion mostly consists of lower class citizens and peasants. The priests were very simple and plain robes, compared to the overly fancy robes worn by the Jacoban priests. Unlike Jacoban Priests, Peteran Priests often give outdoor sermons, which is known as "Evangelizing"

When compared to the very formal and sacred sermons of the Jacoban Priests, the Peterans often try to be humorous and compassionate toward all. The Peterans cannot absolve sins but their personal goal is to bring happiness to all sims. Peterans are much more knowledgeable and studious than their Jacoban rivals. Peterans believe in studying with the Watcher.

Ranks
Abott/Abess - Head of the church. Head priest. Gives the most frequent sermons.
Prior/Prioress - Expirienced and high ranking Priests who give many sermons.
Brother/Sister - Priests in their final year training who are required to study the Watcher one hour a day. Required to give one sermon a week.
Clergy - Priests in training. Required to study the Watcher for three hours a day.
Friar/Acolyte - Servants who scrub the floors. No Priest expirience.

Jacoban Faith
Jacobans are the stoic followers of the Jacoban faith. Like the Peterans, they believe in the Watcher but they believe that the Watcher is merciless and vengeful. They often pray to the Watcher to seek vengeance on enemies or strike down inappropiate sims. The Jacobans are known to have an extremely short temper and often banish inappropiate sermon attenders. Rather than bring happiness, the Jacobs strive to drive fear into the hearts of the Jacoban followers. They often use their proclamation board to post intense, cryptic and sometimes threatning proclamations for sims to witness. They are also known to be very good at prying the truth out of sims and shame the sims into confessing their sins.

They are very arrogant and feel they are superior above the Peterans and regular sims. Jacobans do not allow peasants into their church and any sims who attempt to attend a sermon will be sent to the stocks for punishment. They often waste their donation money on lavish and useless decorations for the church.

Ranks
High Priest/Priestess - In charge of diplomatic matters concerning the church.
Eyes of Jacob - The head of the church, gives frequent sermons.
High Sheperd/Sheperdess - Extremely high ranking priests, who have proven that they can drive fear into the hearts of sims. They often use the proclamation board to post intense and frightning messages.
