Hello there everybody, this is a private RP between Chadwyck and myself. Okay Chadwyck, we kind of discussed the plot and I think we are ready to start. I'll give you the honor of having the first post.

OOC: Alrighty. My character's from Hearthome, so he's gonna start in Sandgem.

It was mid-morning in the quaint town of Sandgem. People were just beginning to emerge from their domiciles, some still groggy from a restless night. The shops and businesses that lined the dirt roads were just opening around now- the only place that had seen activity before this time in the morning was the local Pokemon Research Lab, which had been preparing for the big day ahead of them. Many of those who woke up during these hours did so by choice- for love of their job, or for love of the multitude of species of Pokemon that only showed up when the sun was just making its way over the horizon. Dillon Hale made his way into the local Pokemon Center. Why aren't I asleep? he thought, tossing his bag on to a bench, shortly before sitting down next to it. Perhaps it was the apprehension of starting a Pokemon journey keeping him awake? A little weary, Dillon struggled to keep himself awake. It had been quite a hike from Hearthome, most buses and trains didn't carry passengers this early in the morning. Pulling a lava cookie he had obtained on his way out of his pocket, Dillon began eating, supposedly keeping his energy up. He leaned his head back against the wall, closing his eyes, while at the same time trying not to fall asleep, and wondered about the journey and expiriences laying ahead...

Ty walked out into the fresh air of Twin Leaf Town. It was a perfect morning for starting a Pokemon Journey. The air was crisp and a cool breeze gently stirred the leaves of the trees surrounding the small town. A flock of Starly flew past Ty as he walked down the path towards the route that led to Sangem Town. Today was the day he was going to get his first Pokemon. It was a tough choice choosing one out of the three available starter Pokemon. In the end, Ty decided to stick with Chimchar, the fire type. When Ty reached the route he took a short break and started munching on an apple his mother had packed for him.

Hardly able to sleep from all the excitement, Alexia awoke bright and early on the fateful morning. She let her long black hair out of the ponytail it had been held in and yawned. She was soon up on her feet and headed to the showers in her room at the Pokemon Center. She had taken the train from Eterna City to Sandgem Town yesterday, and spent the night in a cozy and warm room. After getting ready she knew she should eat even though she was too nervous to feel hungry. She opened the door quietly so as not to disturb other guests, and crept into the main lobby.

Ty tossed his apple core to the ground and got up quickly. He could see Bidoof running around the grassy glen that he was passing by. At last, he could see Sangem Town in the distance. He sprinted into the town and looked around for the Professor's lab. Ty thought there might be a map in the Pokemon Center, for visitors, so he walked into the Pokemon Center. Inside the main lobby was a girl with black hair. As Tyler could find no one else, he walked up to her. "Um excuse me miss. He said, tapping on her shoulder "Do you possibly know where Professor Rowan's Lab is?" he asked her

Dillon opened his eyes and winced, blinded momentarily by the Pokemon Center's bright lights. Glancing at his Poketch he realized that he dozed off, but only for a few minutes. The reality hit him that the lab would most likely be opening soon and that he would have to be on his way. Whether it was hunger or nervousness he didn't know, but Dillon strolled over to the food court, his stomach feeling a little empty. Feeling a little more awake and less disoriented, Dillon sat at a free table and turned his attention to the television mounted on the wall, quietly sipping his coffee.

 

[SilverThorn]

"Oh, yes it's right up the road and to the left of here. I'm headed there in a little while myself. I get my first Pokemon today. I'm so excited I could hardly sleep!"

Alexia did a quick little spin and giggled as she excitedly chatted with the boy.

"I was just going to grab some breakfast then head over. Care to join me? I don't know anyone from here. I live in Eterna City."

OOC I think we should have a posting order so it doesn't get confusing. Thoughts?

OOC: Well, it depends. In order for the Rp to progress foward, some people are going to have to post when other people aren't on. For right now, it will be Me, Chadwyck, LostThorn.

Ty blushed as the girl with black hair giggled at him. "I'm from Twinleaf Town" said Tyler "I guess I could join you for breakfast"

OOC: I had the first in character post, so it should go: Me, Snorlax, Silver

"Professor Rowan's Lab?" Dillon's mind jumped at the words. He walked over to the duo chatting. "That just so happens to be where I'm headed." Dillon commented, stretching, and glancing at his Poketch once again. "If I may ask, are you two Pokemon trainers?"

OOC: Okay that means SilverThorn is next, then it is Chadwyck, then Me.

 

[SilverThorn]

"Yes I am, er well I will be as soon as I get my license and my starter Pokemon. I'm thinking of getting a Piplup. They're so cute, and I love water types. I love grass types too, but Turtwig get really big when they evolve. Of course it could be fun to ride on it! Oh, sorry I'm rambling."

Alexia blushed slightly, and fidgeted. She has always bantered on and on when she was excited or nervous. This was obviously no exception.

 

[Chadwyck]

Dillon chuckled slightly. "I have a map, if you'd care to use it." he offered. "And if you're planning on having something to eat, I'd recommend hurrying. The lab opens in fifteen minutes."

 

[SnorlaxEatsYourPie]

"Sure, I'll take the map" he said " And as for breakfast, I think I'll just hurry over there" said Ty. He grabbed his backpack off of the bench he had put it on.

 

[SilverThorn]

"I would go too, but I'm suddenly hungry. I think my nerves are calming down. Save me a seat over there."

Alexia smiled brightly at Ty and waved. Her stomach gave a mighty growl and she blushed bright red as she skitted into the dining hall.

Dillon sighed, then sat across the table from Tyler, supporting his tired body by leaning against his elbow. "I didn't quite catch your names." he recalled.
