Venturas City. Located on a scenic island just off the coast of Sinnoh, this pristine resort town of 2,467,395 people(including some sentient Pokemon, considered an oddity in a good number of circles, though most inhabitants have gotten used to them) offers anything a soul could want, beaches, sports clubs which are sometimes hosts to major tournaments, beautiful forest-like parks and mountain hikes, and even the rare casino. By far however, the most popular spot tourists(and locals) flock to is Latias Stadium. This grand and lavish arena(complete with a giant statue-fountain of it's namesake Pokemon, rumored to have the stadium as a favorite niche) can seat over 300,000 spectators. Formerly hosting the AX Pokemon Prix, The Stadium now hosts something considered somewhat abnormal; The Special League.
Recently a few sights have been witnessed of visitors from a place called the Mushroom Kingdom. It's tourists are somewhat unusual, with descriptions ranging from "brown armless mushrooms" to "Squitle like persons riding a cloud", the former taking offense. These new tourists have displayed incredible fighting skills without the aid of Pokemon, displayed when a team of them trounced Arron, a member of Sinnoh's Elite Four. The Stadium promptly created the Special League, a fighting league where Pokemon and the Mushroom Kingdom's natives fight it out.
The previous fighters of the Special League have ether quit or have career ending injuries from an incident involving a Spiny, a Marsh Badge, and a napkin. You(and 2 buddies) have answered the call for new fighters to the Special League, as the show must go on. Climb the ranks and claim the title of Special League Champion(along with a trophy to mark the occasion), fighting off other entrants with the same aspirations, and maybe even save Venturas City once or twice along the way.

When you're not in a battle, feel free to shop for Medals, equipment, watch other fights and cheer or boo other teams, and generally role play. With the abnormal things arriving with the Mushroom Kingdom tourists, Who knows what's going to Happen in Venturas City.

Glad you asked. This is a Pokemon/Mario PvP based RP, where you create a team of 3 Mario characters or a Trainer with 3 Pokemon(or maybe even a group of sentient Pokemon) and fight other players team to climb up the rankings to the ever elusive #1 Spot in the League, considered to be as prestigious as a Regional Champion. While there is no "Central Plot" so to speak, there will be several "Short Story Plots" to make up for this fact, however the Special League battles will be the "main course" of this RP.

Name: Graff
Species: Koopatrol
Gender: Male
Appearance: Koopatrols(for those who haven't played the Paper Mario series) are Koopa Troopas wearing armor. Their shells have been hardened to the point of near impregnability by normal attacks, and as if this isn't enough, the shells also sport spikes. Graff's particular armor has been painted a cobalt blue on the shell, with a silver trim on the torso.
Bio: Graff is a member of the Koopa Troop, and still is. He has been with Bowser on almost every scheme the tyrant has hatched, and as a result, has countless thrashings by Mario under his belt. While he is formally under "medical leave" due to obvious reasons, the truth is he faked his latest injuries, and has went to Venturas City on vacation, wanting out on one of Bowser's schemes for once to save his own skin. He has decided to join the Special League as an unofficial representative of the Koopa Troop.
Personality: Beacuse he has been through some
Miscellaneous: The RP style for Graff(and my other characters) will be in the format of them telling their experiences to the reader. Expect some 4th wall breaking from them.

Gender: Male
Appearance: Maxill is a pure white, owing to his existence as a Boo. He has a fairly generic apperance, and as such, is a bit self aware.
Bio: Maxill, like Graff, is a member of the Koopa Troop. He got to know Graff beacuse the two were frequently dispatched to guard the same castle, fortress, or such. When Graff left for his vacation, he invited Maxill, who was more than happy to accompany him.

Species: Dry Bones

Apperance: As a former player in the Strikers Cup, Blutch has soccer armor on his torso area, though still has his shell, if you could call it that. He painted the top of his head his team's color, which is green, the same color of his armor.
Bio: Blutch is a former star player of the Strikers Cup, a popular soccer tournament. Graff and Maxill are fans of him, and when they were at his retirement party, mentioned their plans to vacation in Venturas City. Blutch joined them, and promptly entered the Special League with them, so show the rest of the world that even if your opponent is just a bag of bones, he still could be made of sterner stuff.
