The Speed Gamers marathon begins: Goal of 493 Pokémon in 72 hours

The Texas-based group The Speed Gamers will begin their second marathon playthrough of the Pokémon series, utilizing all Generation III and Generation IV main series games released, including the currently Japanese-only Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, to attempt to capture all 493 Pokémon currently known in 72 hours.

It seems Chugga beat everyone else, he's almost at the Elite 4 and he's been playing for a little bit over 5 hours. But they have about 6 more days to raise the money and collect some 240 Pokemon.
