Prologue

On a dark starry night where the moon gleamed brightest, the Earth itself was about to experience on the biggest revolutions to hit the planet. It was the glimmer of life that brought on the hordes of death. For the stars had aligned and mythical ancient powers had woken from their long cold slumbers. For it was the making of a legend that was long foretold was about to happen. A harsh scream pierced the night like a sharp knife through butter. A women was in lonely labor, giving birth to a boy with no father, no name for himself. "Get it out!" she cried and moaned as the boy slowly was pushed into a world that didn't want him. The doctor merely gave her a look of scorn, his years in his service blinded him from the joy that should be accompanied with the miracle of life. "Yes, yes all in due time. Just push." the doctor dryly said, his aged face forming itself into a grimace. The women screamed and kicked, knocking delicate instruments onto the ground. At a particularly loud crash of glass beakers the doctors face grew red as he was almost embarrassed at what he perceived the women's incompetence to realize that she was knocking down thousands of dollars of medical ware. He took the baby by the head with a small vacuum like tube and slowly pulled him out, cutting the umbilical cord that was the last connection the boy would ever have with his mother. As the scissors pierced the cord, a sharp flash of light engulfed the room. The baby flew from the doctor's callous grasp and the room was engulfed in infernal flames. All the windows were blown as the baby flew out and was seemingly engulfed in the open air and before he hit the ground, dissipated into thin air. The mother and doctor were immediately vaporized from the intense heat and the hospital burned down slaughtering everybody in it from nature's miraculous genocide. At a nearby house only a few miles south of the smokestack of what used to be a hospital, a knock was heard at the door. A old weary man and his elderly wife opened the door and saw a small soot covered baby crying and kicking in a blood red basket with a golden note tied to it. The man nearly passed out but the elderly lady merely trembled as she took the note and unfolded it. As she read the words her lips began to fumble with themselves as if she didn't have any word to comprehend what she was reading and quickly hid away the note and basket with the baby inside the house. This is the beginning of a bad omen, where the greatest miracle began with horror, the baby was not natural to the world and the world instinctively rejected it. But the ancient powers that long slumbered protected the baby and would soon be shaping and forging the path to his destiny in indirect ways that nobody except the master of the universe, the entity called God understood. This was the beginning of the Tragedy named Kuoy.
