This is a place to post which tropes on TVTropes you believe are either played straight, subverted, averted, whatever on either your or somebody else's stories. Try to stay away from the more general tropes, and find specific examples.

For example, Generation 2021 contains oodles of examples of lampshading. One would be that Maple explicitly states that they didn't have any of the standard starters. (Actually, that's more like lampshading an aversion of the trope, but I digress.)

But about my stories...

In PLX there were fewer tropes used... Jed was an obvious case of the Cloudcoocolander (I think I still can't spell it right) and I was hoping of reaching Cazy Awesome levels with him. Viviane was made of Tsundere and Little Miss Snarky. Kale was... I don't quite think any trope fits him. He's a mish-mash of sorts. Downfall of a Master was a sort of Future Me Scares Me for Kale.

Now in my new fic, Second Chances, I'm thinking of implementing tropes even more. Xander already is a blatant example of The Snark Knight and Knight In Sour Armor. And I really hope I get all his sarcastic comments right. Kaito, as mentioned many times in the narrative, is The Delinquent and it fits him to a T. Natsuki is a Class Representative in the making and her twin Takahiro will have the role of The Jock. Kinda-sorta-ish. I won't mention any other tropes cause I don't want to spoil any future development of the fic.

Gosh, I have my own Tropers' Works page for Garnets and Cherries because, yeah, TV Tropes is the best...; unfortunately, I'm not good spotting tropes and generally nobody enters the Tropers' Works area to help us tear our stuff apart...

Well, I kinda envy you, cause getting at least on the fanfic recommendations page, not to think about even getting a whole page for one of my works on TVTropes is one of my goals as a fanfic writer.

Just so everyone knows, the best way to not get stuck in a TVtropes loop is to set aside a day to read every single page.

Starting the page? :sweatlol: Because, oh well, it's kinda depressing when one starts a page for one's own work (except at the Tropers' Works namespace; it's kinda the point)

I also could keep watch on them in case none of you are registered. Your entries could always get vandalized or something, just look at what Shiny Noctowl was doing over there.

I'll get my dad to try and unblock TVTropes on my computer later so that I can set up a Troper's Works page for my fic later.

Additional: the fic in question has a prequel. Would a seperate page be required for said prequel?

Well, we know from canon that Obsession will wind up with Jiri being a Mike Nelson Destroyer of Worlds. Oh canon.
