The Ultimate Grand Festival?

With contests most likely being gone from the show, or at least absent for a while, and with contests being apart of the show for the past 8 years, do you think we are entitled to one last hurrah for contests, tournament wise, because I do.

Contests were a major part of the anime, and IMO, I think it would be nice to see one huge tournament with familiar faces, and May and Dawn of course.

Maybe it could happen one day, and if it did, what should it consist of? What should happen? Who do you think should be apart of it, and who would you like to win?

I actually would love for some characters to battle more, but with elimination battles, it's impossible, unless we had a contest arc which lead up to this.

With all do respect, a lot of people care, and with not all battles revolving around May and Dawn, how biased can it be, unless the writers really want to make someone in particular succeed. Then again, what battle in general isn't biased.

I don't know if you saw the Sinnoh League, but if you compare when Paul beat Ash, to when Ash beat Paul, the way both matches were designed, were in the winner's favor by miles, IMO, especially Paul's.

I voted yes but in my opinion it should be the coordinators of DP vs. the coordinators of AG. Also, would this have everyone on the same level after a certain amount of Grand Festivals or just out of no where? Because it should be an even playing field.

I can't see it happening since they're not in the same region. But if there will be such a thing, with Drew, May and Solidad, Dawn would've lost in the quarter finals.

I'd love for the BW series to show us some special Contest in Isshu (even if there are no Contests in Isshu, they can do one special Contest like Wallace Cup there) with ALL important Coordinators of the show
It'd be awesome, but sadly I doubt it'd ever happen
Some battles I'd like to see: Dawn VS Drew, Drew VS Zoey, May VS Ursula, May's Blaziken VS Marina's Feraligatr, Dawn VS Fantina
I think Zoey VS Drew especially has potential to be one of the best Contest Battles ever

Dawn VS Jessie was heavily biased. Jessie is experienced enough to put up a good fight against Dawn, not a one-sided battle.

In the ultimate GF, I would love Jessie to be the winner so I can get rid of the annoying Team Rocket. I got sick of them.

I remember I was talking to some users about a fanservice Wallace Cup where every coordinator that was on the cast (as a main or rival) would appear. It would be a randomised tag competition.

It would be cool to see a lot of familiar people in one big contest, but I think it might be a bit much. I can't think of any reason all of them would just happen to be in it at once.

The tag idea is interesting too - I already said long ago that I hope the DP series will make one tag Contest with Dawn/Zoey as a team... but sadly that didn't happen
I'd love to see a tag May/Drew VS Dawn/Zoey... so awesome... Harley/Ursula VS May/Dawn lol... so many awesome ideas and none of them will happen... oh, cruel life...

The contest arcs are my favourite parts of the show (apart from the League of course ) so yes, if they do get rid of contests, a huge one would be great.

I just hope they don't in the first place though.

I've always wanted a huge, final Grand Festival with the co-ordinators introduced throughout AG and DP. Contests have always been a big part of the anime and were some of the best parts in the anime, IMO. If contests are to end, they need to end them with a bang. And one of the best ways to do it is exactly what you stated, Cascada.
