I guess it's not really a "club" since this isn't the clubs forum, but rather a place for things Originshipping! No rules, aside from no flaming/bashing of Originshipping or any of its constituent characters, and let's please try to keep the thread on-topic.

For those of you who don't know (and really...is there anyone who doesn't know with my Sig of D00m?), Originshipping is the pairing of Steven and Wallace, mostly in the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald games and/or Pokemon Special manga.

BTW, question to the mods: is it okay to post manga scans and/or links to scans that are relevant to the topic of discussion? I'll assume that fanart is okay, since I've seen fanart from Japanese sites posted in other threads (often without reference...).

Awesome. So uh. I think we need a discussion topic, yes! Uhhh...Ummm...I know! Why is Originshipping way better than any possible other pairings for either Steven or Wallace? I've often gone on and on about this to various people, and now I wanna hear some other opinion besides mine. XD

Edit: And yes, I do believe it has a name...though I don't know if it's officially on the list yet. Sabotageshipping, I believe. I'll go look.

Edit 2: And yes, I'm correct. Though for whatever reason Steven is listed as Steve there. XD
 
Man, it sucks that they cut out Wallace in the Anime, and Steven never showed up again...I wanted too see the ship animated!
 
Heck yeah! Can you imagine how much more awesome the whole Kyogre/Groudon thingy would've been with Wallace and Steven in there kicking ass together (preferably with Rayquaza thrown in as well), versus Lance doing a rehash of the hero thing that we already saw in the Lake of Rage eps? It would've pleased the Aqua/Magma fans too, I'll bet, to see their plot have a more dramatic conclusion.

At least PokeSpecial gives the two Hoenn Champions due respect.

The only upside I see to his not being in the anime is avoidance of possible character butchery, like what they did with Steven, whose anime version really doesn't match up with his game or PokeSpecial versions. Especially not in terms of awesomeness.

It's PokeSpecial manga Lance syndrome, i.e. "I will stop you from causing damage to t3h Pkmnz habitats by causing more damage myself while blasting you with HYPER BEAAAAAAM!1!1!!"
 
Oh good grief.

But Originshipping totally PWNS Neochampionshipping *shudder*. I rather like Manga! Steven, and come *on*, in Special manga... Yes, Wallace and Steven should be together.
