I figured someone else would jump on creating one of these, but since no one did, i will.

This is a thread to discuss the coming and goings of the UU tier. New additions to the UU tier, pokemon moving up or down on the tier, as well as successful movesets, styles, and strategies. this is not a place to post warstories. this is to discuss movements in the tiers, regarding what teams work, work, and changes in the tier.

Firstly, this is the most up to date UU tier list

UU Tier

This tier is the one that shall be the subject of discussion, not the Marriland/IGN UU tiers.

personally, I'm having great success with Rain Dance teams right now. I do enjoy destroying teams with Kabutops and Ludicolo.
 
I'm glad they didn't keep P-Z and Cress in UU when they moved them in a couple of months ago..I remember that was not a fun time to play in UU unless you had like Spiritomb, Milotic, Registeel, Absol etc.
 
Trying to get back into UU now, but my team isn't doing that well.

PGZ was way too powerful for UU. away with ti! as for Cresselia, well, its not too hard to beat it.

How easy is/was it to take down a Cresselia? (before it was dropped to UU)

well, if anyone remembers, i used to be the IPGL bug type gym leader. thus i build my team around bugs. it's fairly easy to take him down using scyther or pinsir.

So, it'll be something like this?: Scyther/Pinsir use Swords Dance, then 2HKO-3HKO Cresselia with X-Scissor (and, of course, the number of attacks that it'll take to KO Cresselia will depend on said Pokemon's EVs, right?).
 
i dont really remember how much <.<

but if i remember right its at least a 2HKO
 
Scyther can OHKO Cress with Bug Bite after a Swords Dance, but it has to watch out for Ice Beam :3
 
Have so many sweepers on a team that you can ohko anything on the other persons team. something like 2 physical sweepers that cover the types well 2 mix sweepers for wall breaking and 2 special sweepers that do the same thing as the physical sweepers
 
A team of sweeper is boring and will eventually run into a wall(literally) and then get decimated. Sure you can run around for a few matches having your fun sweeping people, but when you come to those few people who can wall/stall the fuck out of anything, you'll reconsider having a balanced team.

lol he said to state our favorite style he never said it had to be effective and in case you didn't notice I had 2 wall breakers there
