Note: This RP is based off of Earthbound. However, it takes place in Foggyland, and so very little knowledge of the series is required.
Once upon a time, a group of brave children underwent a perilous quest, overcoming many obstacles, and struggling with all their might, to save the world, destroying Giygas forever.
Or so they thought...
Ten years later, a video game based on their experiences, called Earthbound, has finished developing. Made on the mysterious Kilo Isle off the coast of Foggyland by Infinity Games, it was given critical acclaim, and now almost everyone has a copy. But around the same time, people started developing strange powers, and having horrible nightmares about eldritch monsters being awakened by the game.
Calling himself Cube, a man has gathered a group of people affected by the game in the town of Unes in Foggyland. Their mission: To stop Giygas from reawakening.

Appearance: At exactly six feet two, Eliot's a little tall for his age. He has fairly long blue hair, mostly because he hates the barber's shop (He's worried about getting his ears chopped off.) He usually dresses in formal styles, usually wearing a tuxedo vest, button up shirt, tie, slacks, and dress shoes. He always wears a pair of pink heart-shaped sunglasses, and has uncommonly large blue eyebrows.
History: Eliot was working in his parents bakery in the town of Autumns when a homeless man named Cube came in. He gave him some candy on the condition he meet him in the nearby town of Une ti help fight The War on Giygas.

PSI Use
Each PSI ability has a cost, which is deducted from how many PSI points the user has. Once the user hits zero, they can't use any more until they recharge, which takes the entirety of one post. A PSI power can make the user go negative in points, but if the amount of PSI points hits zero, they can't use PSI. So Paul could use PK Fire Omega, which costs 8 PP, even if he had only 2. It would set him at -6 PP. Then, once he spent a post recharging himself back up to two points, he could use it again, though he wouldn't be able to use any more PSI until he recharged again.
Each PSI power has a rank. Higher ranking powers are more powerful, but cost more PP, take longer to cast, and require a higher level to use. Here's a chart of PSI Point costs and levels needed to learn them:
Rank: Cost: Level:
Alpha 1 1
Beta 2 5
Gamma 4 10
Sigma 8 20
Omega 16 30
PSI powers manifest themselves differently in different people. One person's PK fire might throw a fireball, while another might set their weapon on fire. So write down exactly what each power lets your character do when you get it.

Skill Use
Skills are different from PSI in that, while PSI powers come from the mind and can only be used by some people, Skills come from the body and soul, and can be used by anyone. They have no point cost, and can be used any time.
