This threads is based on snowstorms, droughts, flooding and anything dangerous to do with weather or natural disasters.

Such example would be the snowstorm that took place in East coast of USA a fortnight or so back.

Such information has to be reliable. Don't insult anyone and any groups.

So apparently there is massive amounts of snow hitting New England and nearby areas. Like 6 feet of snow. Any information for anybody in that location?

No idea about New England, but Atlantic Canada has had severe snow warnings for the last two weeks. As I type this, there is about two feet of snow falling outside. Halifax Nova Scotia, a Port City (and about an hour away from my house) has even more snow as well as flash flooding, causing instant freezing of the flooded streets.

I implore the internet to denounce the stereotype that Canada is a frigid wasteland that is always covered in snow for a moment. While yes, Halifax is buried right now, normally this time of year there are only a couple of inches of snow on the ground, and from mid-march onward, none at all.

Earthquake (6.9 magnitude) and a tsunami warning for Northern Japan.

I was so shocked to hear that yesterday. Those poor people... :( RIP to those beautiful souls.
