Plot

It was a long time ago in the month of January. Wait it is actually this month? Oh dear. Well this story started way back earlier this month it was a quiet night for UN after they found out that their previous sponsored team got lost in a mission to stop the end of the world however they ended up in a parallel universe after Dikembe Mutombo was on an Old Spice ad doing the same thing. The Government didn't know what to do, the last time they didn't have a group of superheroes helping and working with them...the Cubs actually won the World Series. I mean people this can't happen again, this could be worse than Will Smith aging. So what did the Government do? They decided to watch the Movie called The Right Stuff hoping that the Communists will stop them from taking over the moon until they remembered that it was 2013 and not 1961. So they tired to hire a savvy businessman named Richard Branson but he ditched them. They even tried asking Tom Cruise but he had to act in a movie coming out soon. With their options limited they decided to ask a woman from Argentina who lived in Australia and was born in South Africa with American parents named Ingrid Harrison.

Ingrid accepted the position and quickly hired a PR manager by the name of Max Hill and a scout named Mr. Bannister who used to work in fashion. Ingrid's job was to control a team of young superheroes and make them form a team to save the world from any crisis that can happen for many odd reasons. She figured that she needed people that could be controlled and not someone like a Superman who ended up in the other dimension or so they want the public to believe. So Mr. Bannister decided to go around the world to find this heroes and offer them the opportunity of a lifetime.

However the reason for the team is that there was another team similar to the Justice League in the comics where they operate in a secret base not known the UN and the US Government. They had no control over the team and no one trusted them because they were too powerful. Not much is known to the team


Your role

You're a hero that has been recruited. You will live on the free rooms in a very plushy housing unit with the whole works including an ice coffee machine and a teleporter (Will be completed in 2019)

You and your teammates will fight against the evil, help the world or even end up on TV shows as guest stars. Anything can happen

Or

You can be one of the unknown Superheroes who are loved by the people but hated and not trusted by the UN and the major Governments around the world. You will live in a secret base which can not be tracked down.

About the RP

There is going to be a bad villain or a couple but this is a light hearted RP with different personalities. However it depends which team you are on, the other non-UN team is a bit darker and more secretive.

I control Ms. Harrison, Mr. Bannister and Max. Anyone can control the government officials, UN, other countries, other planets if they PM me first

Superhero name: ManipuLate

Name: Percy Pardaxo (pardaxo is a anagram of paradox)

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Team: UN

Home country and currently at: Born in Australia, lives in America

Apperance: (normal) Percy has black hair, as well as a beautiful face, with pale skin. He wears a uniform that resembles Looker from Pokemon. Not only that, he has purple eyes (originally hazel) and is a bit tall.

(superhero) ManipuLate has the same looks like Percy, but dons a purple vest and tights. His t-shirt emblem has a brain with a thunderbolt through it. He does not wear a cape.

Personality: (normal) Percy is a bit shy, but loves girls. Always wanting to have a go, but has a short temper. He has Asperger's Sydrome and ADHD.

(superhero) ManipuLate never gives up, but always does his best. He is a bit of a persuasive man as well. Can pefectly control his superpowers due to his bravery.

History: Percy was a special child to the Pardaxo family, and nothing has gone wrong to his whole family. Until one day, he was exposed to sezuires in a beta version of the game he got from his uncle (who worked at Nintendo) and was given superhero powers. His uncle dissaperreead after the events, But thanks to his manipulating skills and his ability to stop time, he can try to uncover the mysteries, and even save the world from any assasinations, terrorists, dictators, monster or ailens.

Powers: Mind control, can stop time.

Strengths: If he touches any particle of electricty, (but has to be extremely strong power source) he can travel back in time a few hours. This is helpful when things go catastrophicly wrong very quickly.

Weakness: Damaging ManipuLate will cause him to become weaker. This goes away slowly.

Hobbies: Girls, games, food and tv

Issue that I have include his appearance because I don't know what looker looks like and even if I did I would want a vivid description. Personality is not enough and his power set is too much, way to over the top. His weakness doesn't even seem much.

Kind of need to fix a lot of it, sorry.
 
Superhero name: Doctor
Name (Normal): Yuri Panfilov
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Team: UN
Country and place of origin and current place: American. He's from Hawaii, to be precise, but of Russian descent.

Appearance:
Civilian: Yuri's platinum-blond hair is fairly unkempt. Fitting, considering that's what the rest of him looks like. He always wears a pair of rectangular glasses over his icy-blue eyes, and his skin is very pale. He's quite lithe, with some visible muscle. His arms and legs are fairly long, and he's a bit tall at 6'1. He tends to wear a faded t-shirt that has something to do with video games, jeans, and sandals. Around his neck he wears a necklace with a small upside-down caduceus. When he's working, all he does is throw on a lab coat, some rubber gloves, and sometimes a surgical mask.

Hero: When Yuri becomes the Doctor, he dons a metal face mask that covers his face from the top of his nose down. He keeps his chainsaw hooked to a band he keeps around his back. He wears a black lab coat, which tends to hold a few surgical implements in case of an emergency. On his hands he wears extra-thick latex gloves, made for keeping a firm grip. And on his feet, he wears a pair of thick boots. He replaces his glasses with a pair of contacts that make it look like he has red eyes. He really likes the intimidation factor. To compensate for his glasses no longer protecting his eyes from blood splattered by his weapon of choice, he keeps a pair of goggles around his neck, ready to put on any time he feels like bisecting someone.

Personality: Yuri does not fit the stereotype of a cold natured mad scientist. He's hedonistic and fun-loving. He was a workaholic, but now that he's a superhero, he spends a lot of his time in bars, going after loose women and going out drinking. He's a bit self-centered, although if he likes someone, he will make sacrifices for them. Morally, he has a very ends justify the means approach. He will do what needs to be done. If he needs to kill one man to save 1000, to him, all it is is a simple math equation. He might just be lazy and want to take the easy way, or he may simply not believe he's strong enough to save everyone. He will try and make the right decision if it's laid out in black and white. He likes to act a lot more cold natured than he is.

History: Yuri's dad, like him, was a butcher. Unlike Yuri, his father was the kind with steaks and tenderloin as opposed to creepy monsters no god ever intended. His father always encouraged him to learn about the world around him, and Yuri took this to heart, often going on long walks on the beach, looking at tide pools, fascinated by the creatures there. When he first dissected a frog in biology, it only spurred him on. He decided to become a biologist, and master the machinery that made up living beings. Going to the doctor's was a treat for him, quizzing the physician on medical concepts while turning his head and coughing.

One more thing would spurn his quest for medicine on. Yuri was allowed to skip most of elementary school as well as middle school. He was studying medicine at college, only 17, when he learned his father was ill. The doctors had no idea what he had. His father died a slow, painful death to an unknown illness. Yuri became obsessed with curing all diseases. He decided ethics were meaningless if it led to saving lives. He began studying like never before, spending all of his free time in the lab, averaging roughly four hours of sleep a night. He drove away what few friends he had. He started performing experiments most people would deem insane. Yuri would likely have been expelled had it not been for the fact that many of these experiments were considered medical miracles. He even managed to develop a cure for the common cold, and a surgical procedure that reversed the effects of male pattern baldness. It was one of these experiments that allowed him to ascend to the ranks of superhuman. He began genetically engineering viruses, making them work for humans instead of against them.

He failed. His first creation was intended to heal physical wounds. They did that, but later, producing effects similar to cancer, causing the cells to overgrow, strangling the growth of others. By the time the first patient exhibited the effects, Yuri had graduated. Upon hearing this, he finally decided to end it. He hung himself in his own lab. He didn't use a strong enough rope, however, and fell, breaking the vials containing what remained of his virus. Upon waking, Yuri decided that it was fate. He tried to make a cure, but he didn't succeed. He did, however, manage to create a drug that would delay the symptoms. The subject would still have a greatly shortened life span, but in the meantime, they would have incredible powers. After learning of his powers, the UN sent him an application. Seeing an oppurtunity for funding for more experiments, he gladly accepted.


Power: Doctor's base power is that he is an extremely skilled surgeon. He has on more than one occasion brought people back to life seconds after they were pronounced dead. He is the second surgeon to ever perform a head transplant*, and he's very close to finding a cure for the common cold. However, simply being a skilled doctor is not why he is on the squad. Due to exposure to his own experiments, he has a powerful healing factor. Not only can he recover from wounds that would kill most people easily, he can safely use all of his muscle mass. This lets him perform incredible physical feats, like lifting cars and running at incredible speeds.
Also, he fights with a chainsaw.

Strengths: His surgical skills are incredible, and he's quite knowledgeable on most biological concepts. He can also make weird combinations of animals, although he'd still have to train them, which is very time consuming and probably not all that worth it. He can also upgrade himself, although it takes time and research to do so.
His healing factor will let him heal very quickly from wounds, and he's strong enough to lift a car up. Not over his head, and he couldn't throw it, but he could lift it up. He can also run at 30 miles per hour, and while he will tire eventually, provided he has no outstanding injuries, it would take running nonstop for 8 hours to do so.
His chainsaw is strong enough to cut through human flesh easily, and could saw through a car given a minute or so.

Weakness: While Doctor's surgical skills are incredible, it still takes time and concentration. He could graft someone's arm back onto their body, but it'd take time and equipment for him to do so, and the subject would need to heal. So doing it in the middle of a fight is a bad idea. He can upgrade his body with more powers, but it takes time, so no gaining new powers in the middle of a fight. As for his healing factor, it can't heal him and enhance his physical abilities at the same time. So if he has a huge hole in his stomach, he has to choose between healing it or lifting a burning car to save the nun trapped underneath it. Also, if he has something lodged in the wound, like a bullet, he needs to pull it out, or he'll heal around it, causing some potentially serious complications. Also, he has to take pills every day to stop his healing factor from killing him. And if he wants to live past forty, he needs to find an actual cure.
His chainsaw needs refueling after about an hour of use. It uses mountain dew for fuel, so if he doesn't have access to any, he needs to rely on whatever weapons he can find lying around.

Hobbies: Video games, surgery, cutting up animals and sewing them back together to make weirdass abominations that mother nature never intended, playing god, knitting, and ice cream.

*The first was performed by a team of scientists headed neurosurgeon Robert J. White on a monkey in 1963. The monkey survived for a few days. Yuri's operation was also performed on a monkey. It's name was Luffy. He survived for a week before being devoured by a combination of a squid, bear, and giraffe that had escaped from it's cage. Yuri had a funeral for it. he cried, although he claimed he had something in his eye.

Country and place of origin and current place: Born in Prague, but raised around the world

Appearance:
Civilian: Light brown hair kept short, dark brown eyes, and a little tall. He wears a white collared shirt and black leather jacket with grey jeans and snow boots.

Hero: Wears a brown clay mask (has no features) that covers his whole face (the mask has ADAM written on the forehead). He wears a brown vest with fur hood, short-sleeve gray shirt, heavy black pants, and his snow boots. Clay bandages wrap around both arms and forms gloves. He also wears eight pure-iron rings, four on each hand.

Personality: An accidental hero, he fights for his own beliefs. Even if it means destroying a building or two to get the job done. He likes confrontation, sometimes a little too much for a hero. His fighting style takes no regard for those around him. In the midst of battle he tends to make rash decisions often leading to disastrous consequences. He is more of the type who needs orders, as he can't cope with making huge decisions. Although, he tends to slack off when he thinks what he's doing is boring.

History: He lived in an orphanage until the age of five when he learned he had powers. He ran away to find out the kinds of fun he can have with his powers. He never tried to use them to help people until he stopped a bank robbery at the age of fifteen. The truth was that he was going to rob the bank but some other guys got to it instead. Since then he got into uncanny situations such as attempting to steal a 3 million dollar car when another guy does it first, trying to overthrow a small nation government but instead saves them from a rebellion, and somehow saved the life of an old woman in the hospital (he unplugged the machine but didn't know she was already dying. The doctors came and revived her). Afterwards, he tried being a hero. And although he ends up taking some collateral damage, he does a fair job proving himself a worthy hero. However, due to his destructive tendencies, he was rejected for consideration by the UN to be a part of their hero team.

Power: He is able to manipulate four different elements. He can create golems out of clay, iron, wood, and flesh. Can create basic weapons (swords, hammers, spears, etc)

Strengths: Great at crafting weapons in the middle of battle. He likes weapons that get up close and personal and only use such weapons.

Weakness: Can't fight at long distances. The size of the creation depends on the amount of materials provided. The materials he uses for crafting have to have little to no impurities. If he crafts something out of flesh, he can only use corpses. Creating things take lots of energy and concentrations to make. Although he gets away with creating crude weapons and poorly designed golems.

Hobbies: Creating statues and figurines. Crafting weapons. Scaring people with his flesh golems.
 
@Heroic Sociopath - Healing factor is nice but one issue is the super strength and super speed, if you change it to above average strength and above average speed then we have something good here.

Does that mean I can't be a part of the Non-UN team? I don't mind I just wanted to know.
