Id love to hear some theories on the sudden use of the N intro being used for 3 straight episodes, with the beyond intro only being used once (once could be thought of as a mistake, twice is odd, 3 weeks is almost, how can they not know at this point)

maybe they are prepping a new intro for XY week with Alexa's debut with the XY pokemon appearing in the intro and are trying to keep interest up til then by using N's intro?

id love to hear some theories on this

I'm just thinking it's an error and since they are so uninterested in Da they are not going back to fix it.

I think that it's just a big mistake that they haven't bothered to fix yet. Wanting to edit the DA version of the opening to fit Alexa and some of the sixth generation Pokemon is a possibility, but I don't think that they would put the Episode N version of the opening in its place to keep interest up. They'd know right away that this arc has nothing to do with Team Plasma or N, so there would be no point in doing something like that for the shake of increasing kids' interest. Besides that, they probably already would have such a version ready by the time Alexa appears, so I don't think that it would be necessary at all for them to put in the wrong version of the opening theme.

They're airing the Plasma two-parter soonThey put the guy responsible for the Genesect trailer mishap in charge of openings this season, and by the time they caught the error the episodes in question had already shipped to the station. :p

1) TPCi thought their current Da! Version of the opening stank and went back to the N version. (and might be using another version for the Alexa episode).

2) CN might be behind this. TPCi weren't happy with them one time because they cut out some scenes of Movie 13 during its original airing.

If it was deliberate they'd have put the 'and beyond' bit onto the N intro. The Who's That Pokemon segments are using that - so an oversight in the production process is most likely, the wrong intro being in the automation? They haven't really swapped around intros within seasons before, so it going wrong isn't too shocking.

Mistake is my guess. They could be making a new one for Alexa joining but why would that stop them using the DA one?
