Do you know an interesting theory i have?

Red is Ash`s father!

Just analyse:

-On chapter 002, Ash`s mother say that his father is a skilled Pokemon trainer and e is in a journey.

-Red was born on Pallet Town.

By several years Nintendo camouflaged this nicely..

But made a mistake..

When, from nothing, announced Pokemon Origins spin-off anime..

Why Nintendo made a Pokemon anime version just for Red, if it forgot him for so long time? And why so suddenly?

I believe that is doing that to prepare world for revelation of this so bombastic secret.

A guy that works on anime production said that Ash`s father is alive and will be revealed when Ash get more mature..

Who is better than Red for that?

What do you think about this my theory? Lets discuss about that! ^^

Pokemon Origins also will depict Brock and Oak as the same age or older than their main anime counterparts - which means Red doesn't exist in the same canon as Ash.

It's an interesting theory, but the fact that we see characters like Professor Oak, Brock and Lance looking around the same age or older than they do in the anime series makes it clear that Origin takes place in a different universe, so he couldn't be Ash's father.

Ash doesn't have a father. He was conceived by the midi-chlorians.

Trying to shoehorn Red into the main anime canon would be incredibly awkward, given the innumerable differences from the games. Making him Ash's father would be even worse.

Well, since Ash is Red's anime counterpart, I find the idea of Red being his own father a bit creepy and hard to believe.

@Winterdaze

Thanks, man! ^^

@Mr Palpitoad

:D

@Moe and @Hidden Mew

Remembering that on animes characters can look more older than theu really are or the opposite(like Brock's mom, that is older than him, but look younger than him).

@P0KEM0N , @Glitchipedia and @Reila

As we can see now, Red is not so distance from really being Ash's dad, since he has now his own anime..
The mais character from Pokémon Silver/GOld was only on game, but, Nintendo decided to show him on Pokémon anime series, so, he appeared there. What stop this happen with Red? In any time, Nintendo can put him on main anime.

That still wouldn't explain Red being Ash's father since Brock would have to be at least in his twenties or thirties in that case and that wouldn't make sense. Besides that, Pokemon Origin doesn't take place in the same universe as the main series and considering that Ash is the anime counterpart to Red, it would be really weird for Red to be Ash's father.

What if red is actually Ash's mommy?

Or what if Ash is red's cousin in law?

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?

The world will never know.

The thing about age seems like a proof on that Red can not be father to Ash. Then it is still possible that you have right. The writers have made crazy things before(like ignoring Palpitoad)so everything is possible. But this would probably mean that Blue is Garys father.

Ash doesn't have a father nor is this obvious question ever brought up. Ladies and gentleman, I give you anime. Anime = Don't bother comparing anything to the real world. Physics and biology are generally on the shallow end of the kiddie pool.

I know someone on this board who would flip his/her shit at thread like this.

Ash is the anime's interpretation of Red and Gary is the anime's interpretation of Blue. Can we just accept this?

If so, all gym leaders, E4 members and the rival were the same ones in the Red's time. Or the actual gym leaders have parents with the same name and aspect as them in the Red's time, while his rival was another Prof. Oak's grandson, lol. It sounds like fun.

At the start of the Black/White season Ash was said to be 10 years old... Again. He'd forgotten all the lessons he'd learned previously as well and he seems to have gotten more immature than when the last season ended. The seasons have been on a loop, recycling the same content time and time again. Stuck in this perpetual physical and mental loop how exactly will Ash ever get "more mature"? Will it be one of those miniseries events that, once it's completed, were back to square 1?

To be honest, I don't they'll ever reveal Ash's father. x_x
I agree with Hidden Mew, it wouldn't be logically possible. Then again, Ash is still ten years old, so who knows?
