im making a research about the pokemon competitive history and when i was looking in the Nintendo cup part of the article (Rule variants - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia) they say the game used in 97 was the japanese Pokemon Stadium, but this games was release only in 98,there is any information about a having a pokemon stadium exclusive game for Championships at that time or its just a mistake????there is no much information about that the Nintendo Cup site is japanese only and the only information about the cup there is about the most used pokemon

The page doesn't say that the game used for the '97 tournament was a version of Pokemon Stadium. It says that this type of tournament would later become known as Nintendo Cups in the Pokemon Stadium games. What it's trying to say is that the tournament wasn't called a Nintendo Cup, but that this type of tournament would later be referred to as such.
