So here is what I should say "hello, I'm new, I hope we get along" and that kind of stuff. However, I have a habit of making my posts longer and detailed than just that one simple line. This is supposed to be my introductory thread so I can as well use it to say something about myself.

I'm no hardcore gamer. I play Pokemon Pearl mostly on weekends and for pleasure. I've never done EV training, breeding for moves or natures, caught a shiny using a Poke Radar (but I tried and I'll probably try again, because shinies are pretty) or got a Pokemon to level 100. I don't have all these perfect ultimate battle machines you all use in WiFi battles. I use Pokemon I like and I like Pokemon that I find beautiful. I can't help it, I'm a girl and zodiac Libra. We Libras care very much for beauty. I can imagine that it might sound like blasphemy, but as I mentioned before, I play for pleasure.

I'm a m&a fangirl, but I haven't seen the Pokemon anime other that some early episodes that aired here years ago. I also like yaoi, but I don't care what someone is shipping, flaming someone's pairing/character/Pokemon preferences is the last thing I'd do. I do my best to use correct lanugage and spelling, but I'm not a native, so I apologize in advance.

I don't know, if I have some time, I might try these neat things with egg moves and EVs, but I don't need them to be happy and if I ever try, I know I'll use a Pokemon I like and not one that is used by everyone because it's strong

Yeah, I've never caught a shiny Pokemon w/the radar either, and the only Pokemon I've gotten to Lv. 100 was my Palkia. And I, too, usually (if not always) choose looks over strength when choosing my Pokemon; I've never really considered stats. Anyway... Welcome to the forums!
