They need to put Raikou in a normal episode

One thing that always bothered me about the show is that Ash never got to meet a Raikou. At the beginning of the 10th movie they show all the previous legendaries and Raikou is not even there.

Why is it, that after all these years, the writers haven't put a Raikou in a normal episode for Ash to see?

They put Suicune in like 3 episodes, Entei has been in 1, Articuno has been in 4 eps, Zapdos has been in 2, Moltres in 2, the Regi's in several, etc, etc.

So many legendaries get to appear in normal episodes, yet the writers never got the idea to put Raikou in a filler so Ash can meet it?

Does this slightly bother anyone else or is it just me?
 
The Raikou appearance from that episode was too short though, revealing only its back fur, then jumps away. It had the focus from the PKM Crystal special featuring Jimmy, Marina, and others and those robot Raikous in Watson's gym doesn't count.

We don't know if DP and their movies will reveal the rest of the 493 released monsters or will they plan to do anymore specials. In any case, I just let them do what they're doing. DP can become what the first 82 PKM episodes brought to their success, or fail like how Johto went (minus the Gym Battles and some good episodes there).
 
Raioku getting a movie at this point seems impossible.

A small part? Maybe. A movie by itself? No. It's too late for it to happen.
 
It got a freakin' special to itself, it doesn't matter if it wasn't in the main anime. Not many Pokemon can say that, I don't see why Ash has to meet every single Pokemon. :/
 
all im saying is entai and suicune got a movie and raikou got an hour long special that ash let alone an actual main character wasn't even in please give him a part in a movie even if its a small part

But as said, they shove all the previous legendaries into episodes, so why not Raikou?

Did we really need to see Suicune 3 times? Putting Suicune in that DP filler about Drifloon was relatively pointless, yet they did it anyway.

I don't see why Raikou can't randomly appear in a filler.
 
It starred in a TV movie - I don't care about people calling it "special"... it was exactly like any movie other than the facts it aired on TV and had different characters
So I don't see why it must appear in a "real" movie or must appear in a regular episode... or why Ash "must" see it
But anyway... if electric types really are important in movie 12 than maybe Zapdos and Raikou will come to help
 
Raikou should get an episode appearance at least. Since Ash is in every ep, he'd end up seeing it.
 
Maybe Ash doesn't need to see an electric-type legendary because he has such a Pokemon that has incredible power...?

That still doesn't explain why he saw Zapdos twice, and never Raikou. Likely going to be thrice with the legendary birds now in Sinnoh (and Zapdos has already briefly appeared, only it was to Team Rocket instead of Ash).

Come to think of it, there was even that filler in Johto which had the sick Zapdos in it; that really made no sense why they chose Zapdos instead of Raikou since its, you know, a Johto Pokemon in the Johto region? It would have been a prime opportunity.
 
The Groudon in Movie 6 wasn't real either, but the opening of the 10th movie seems to count that as Groudon's appearance.
 
Does it really matter if the "Pokémon" itself wasn't real in the end?
 
every legend except ho-oh and raikou got a movie hell even the regis have been seen and rotom might be in movie 12 if its not arceus
 
Raikou got the special, Ho-oh is the symbol of Ash's specialness. Neither will be showcased any further, they already had their glory. Im suprised nobody's freaking out about Entei, it was in movie 3, but its wasnt even a real one...
 
Ho-oh will probably have a major episode or multi-parter during the final eps of the anime.

The writers are clearly saving it for the very end.
