Charizard flies in after ash wins/looses against the LT. Ash is oerjoyed and paul comes over, still pised after loosing to ash. brock tells paul charizard is one of ashs strongest, if not the strongest. Paul then tells ash he only lost because he used weak pokemon. then he challanges ash to a two on two double battle. ash lets charizard go out, and tell pikachu to go out, too. Paul sends out torterra and electrive. Torterra uses eq which does nothing to charizard, but KO's pikachu (cause hes weak from another battle or somin) charizard is supprised, and dosent get cokey. ash commands him to use flamethower on torterra, nonstop, which leaes him open for a thunderpunch from electrive. still being pretty close, charizard uses steal wing followed be a close range flamerower and a seismic toss, KOing him. Its down to the wo starters who have both taken a supperefecive hit.torterra uses leaf storm and charizard uses flamethrower and he two blow up in midair. torterra lands a super effective stone edge and a crunch. charizard is down, but not out. Paul goes to finish him with frenzy plant, but charizards eyes turn red and he counters wih blast burn. goes right through frenzy plant, KOing torterra.
