I'm sure we all have our nos. What are yours?

I'll write anything except... We'll, s*x of any kind at all. I refuse. (Other than implying without writing it.) Because I am extremely uncomfortable. Other than that that I'm open to everything else.

I'm also a profanity refuser because I think it would make my stories worse with it. Even if I think my characters would curse like a sailor, I would prefer not to.

It’s okay you’re allowed to say sex it’s not a curse word

Honestly this is a tricky question for me to answer. Like there are things I’m uncomfortable writing, but like… that can change, and uncomfortability doesn’t inherently mean “won’t ever write ever”.

(Also most of the things I’m uncomfortable writing are too explicit to discuss here, so even more tricky.)

most sexual content and dead dove stuff is a discomfort to read for me personally so i definitely don't see myself writing anything related to that. Although that being said even though i mostly write more fluffy stuff i'm definitely not against possibly writing something more angsty if i feel inspired. (maybe one day ill finish my bad end originshipping fic)

Most of the stuff I wouldn't ever even try writing would be too explicit to discuss here. There are certainly also topics and scenarios which I would only touch with the lightest of feathers so as to serve whatever idea I have without going too in-depth to the point of it overshadowing the story itself or worse, making me uncomfortable to the point I want to give up on it.

I have written AU for different fandoms before, its not something I'm keen on writing all the time. I feel if I start writing AU, I've probably run out of ideas on how to expand the original canon. (That is no shade to folks who love AUs btw. For me the interesting part of fic is how it can expand canon. AUs don't interest me too much unless its something really specific that I have knowledge on.)

I wouldn't get far writing especially intricate descriptions. Whether it's the moment-to-moment of arts/crafts, or the grisly fine details needed for chilling horror.

In my own stories, I favor relationships between OCs.
More broadly I'm not too interested in intentionally referencing fan theories (or other fanworks for that matter).

For me, it's homophobia. I don't see a reason to write it (especially since it's a sensitive topic for me as an LGBT+ individual), and I don't think it would add much to my stories.
