Think will see Conway before the league?

He's going to be at the league and be a rival to Ash from the opeaning.
So, think will see an episode or two of them being rivals over some thing? They can't just shove him in there, I mean heck Nando got a episodes that showed he was apart of the league and Grand Festival. What do you think?
 
I figure they might run into him when they first get to the league, before all the battling and such, but before that.. doubtful. At least in my opinion.
 
We'll see him, but I'll be surprised if he gets much screentime.

I figure we'll see Conway right before his intended match up. Like, 1 introductionary episode away. I say this because it was essentially the same way he was previous reintroduced. No doubt he appearance will be unexpected and cause our heroes to be caught off-guard. Which is the thing most people enjoy about Conway, I'm sure.
 
I sure hope so. He's honestly one of my absolute favorite recurring characters in the history of the Pokemon anime. But as to whether or not I think it's gonna happen...I dunno. I kind of doubt it. Maybe we'll get an episode right before the league where we get some character development or something. That would be nice.

*Pets* Good thread. Ah, tough one. Well, like V-Faction said, he seems like the type to kind of just appear and just make everyone all o_o'. But, like Lawnmowergirl said, a pre-league episode with character development would be mucho bueno (I like to insert random Spanish).

Honestly, though, since the league's such a big thing, and we've never seen him earning badges, and he's never even mentioned, I suspect they'll give us some sort of pre-league thing aside from the opening to tell us he's coming.
 
Oh I hope it a lot, I really like this guy xDU He is such an original character,one of my favourite characters in Sinnoh. His weird and nerd behaviour and his "Pokedex mode" was hilarous xDU Specially when he interactue with Dawn xDU I hope that he was a hard rival for Ash in the league :3 But I think that the poor Conway will be the first defeated by Ash ;O;!
 
I hope so. His interactions with Dawn are priceless plus he really is the one that could just jump out of some hedge along the road. He and Barry, too.
 
Conway is another one of those characters who deserved to appear much more.
 
It would have been nice it we had seen him more since he's an enjoyable character, but I much prefer having him to having a random league rival that pops up the episode before it starts. Ash has plenty of rivals this time around, so I don't see them pulling a Ritchie. The writers were on the right track with Morrison who showed up before the GF, having Conway be that floater who also has been around since early-mid DP would be better. I could see him like creeping on the GF, but that would be about it.
 
Well, as much as I think popping out of nowhere in the female coordintors' dressing room would be funny and very unexected in a show like this, I think the stunt would cost him his trainer license.
 
I think we'll see Conway next at the league itself.
He has a knack for appearing unexpectedly.

Though major points if he mentions he's been watching Dawn closely in the GF just like a creepy stalker fanboy would. :p
 
Its a shame how underused Conway was.

Is it just me or were Conway and Ursula the two most interesting but underused characters of the region?

Shame, because neither of them will probably be on the show next gen at all.

I hope its not just the league, I want an episode that explaines that he's in the league so it won't just be hey by the way I'm in the league and shows his badge case while at the league. I'd like an episode that shows what a great battler he is too, show him go against Ash and than tell Ash "Were enemys right?" Than ends with to be continued. If I had it my way I'd have Conway travel with Ash/Dawn/Brock a few episodes to the league.
