Third Ranger game out March 6: Game sold for ¥4800

The official Japanese Pokémon site has just confirmed the new Pokémon Ranger game seen in recent CoroCoro scans. The game Pokémon Ranger: Tracks of Light will be released on March 6 for ¥4800. The first Ranger Net mission for this game, which will allow players to transfer a Deoxys to their Generation IV games, will be available from March 6 to May 17.

Nintendo does that these days. Two years ago they said that for the most part, they won't reveal games until not long before they launch.
 
Pokemon Daisuki website section on this game has also opened.

It has more screens (one fully-sized screen showing both Natsuya and the girl's sprites). And indeed, the graphics have changed for better.

The human artworks on the Daisuki Website are the same size as Pokemon.co.jp's (maybe a few pixels bigger but it's not a noticeable difference). Ah, it also has HQ arts of the player characters but they're half-cut, sadly.

I may take the shots if wanted (not everybody has a Daisuki account, I know).

Ah, also, on one of the screens Natsuya (the boy) and the player girl are seen together. That means that the other-gender character will have an NPC role (this was also in the case of Ranger 1 but not in SoA!).

Oh awesome, I loved Ranger 2, I mean ranger 1 was good, but I liked 2 a lot more. Can't wait for the English release! the characters look good and they're riding legendaries! but "team Nappers"??? lol sleep a lot? ;) and yay a legit way to get a deoxys. I hope we can go to the other two regions this time, just to increase the longevity of the game. :)

So in other words they're trying to cover up the mistakes of SoA? I should look into this series if its as good as you guys are making it to be.
 
Well hopefully this going to be a good ranger game too :). I already have a feeling that this is going to be a good game :).

So now we have a way of obtaining Deoxys without events or hacking.
 
Not another ranger game!
I played the first one and a wal mart demo of 2 and both sucked. They were boring and repetive.

The demos they put on Nintendo Channel suck. Doesn't mean the whole game does.

Boring being a subjective view aside, why is it all the complaints about Ranger applies to the main series as well :/
 
I still wonder why the art is different. I love the ranger series, but looking at the map, it looks like this game is small. So I might not get this one.

Does anyone else think the protagonists look similar to Hibiki and Kotone?
 
The girl kinda looks like Kotone, that's all.

PS The title sounds a little like the story of LoZ: ST.
 
Today's Pokemon Sunday revealed clearly that the girl's name is Minami.

So, Natsuya and Minami.
