I know my name is a little bit out there, however, it 'tis not a troll as some have wondered :). I just really like the ninja turtles, squirtle, and just turtles in general.

As this is an introduction, I'll post some history on how I ended up here and a little about myself.

When I was just a young lad, my brothers and I received Gameboy colors (mine was lime green, another bro's was see-through purple and one the special edition pikachu one).. Pokemon Red came with mine, blue with my bros, and of course yellow with the eldest.
Needless to say, my first experience with an RPG and I was hooked.

However, as I got older and my gameboy color began to gather dust, so did my interest in pokemon wane.

I had gotten gold for a birthday and for a short time the spirit of pokemon was rekindled.
Alas, due to a new young edition to the family, the game cartridge was lost to the wilds which were the toy boxes present in my time, not to be seen again for years.

However, after receiving a DS one Christmas, and having my own job.. Pokemon Pearl was bought and played start to finish twice. Followed by platinum, and now finally Soul Silver.

I have been using Bulbapedia for a while now after a friend refereed me to it. I have been wanting the first gen starters since I bought Pearl, and now finally have them from kindness on this forum.

I am currently trying to obtain all the starters from all the games (just need a mudkip) and to build I suppose a "tournament worthy" team. I am probably going to re-play through platinum within the next little while with my new starters for some nostalgia, as well as a time killer at work + help with the wait for Black/White.

Aside from pokemon I enjoy running and martial arts, and am entering first year University this coming fall semester. I am currently enrolled in the Facility of Science, but am unsure where this path with take me, or if I will stay true to it.

edit: I haven't went through all the forum yet but I am very new to this "pokemon community" type deal with certain natures of pokemon being more rare, IVs, etc. If anyone could link me to a guide (if it exists) to understanding what is good and what isn't, that would be the very best. In the mean time I'll be researching myself.

I used to watch the show from the 90's.. Have watched a bit of the newer stuff but haven't watched any in a long time. Kind of stopped watching TV. Mostly I just watch the movies every once and a while now.

And I do like Team Rocket.. I always wished there was an option to join them to wear their uniform... And that you could challenge people walking around to a fight instead of them going to you.
