I was so amused by the large numbers of Mudkip fanart that got submitted to DeviantArt in light of their April Fools prank - replacing everyone's avatars with Mudkips - that I had to draw one of my own. I might add detail to the trees or color it later, but this is how it looks for now.

The mudkips fan art is always great, and yours is no exception.
But for today, my own DeviantArt account said otherwise:
I learned that it only shows this message if you tried to change the Mudkip. But man, changing everyone's avatar like that was pretty funny, especially for accounts that have a collective of their friends posted at the top.

Great use to penstrokes and texture in the bushes in the foreground. Despite keeping in style with the Pokemon style, I feel that the Mudkip (which is the central focus of the piece) is flat and doesn't stand out as much as those bushes.
Well, there's not much I can critique, sorry. ^^"

Thanks, everyone. I haven't drawn a lot of stuff outside of doodles since I drew the Mudkip picture, but I do have one picture I'm working on:

Basically just taking the "Sasuke's hair makes him look like he has a duck's arse on his head!" in a Pokemon-related direction. Hopefully, I can cover up the sloppy marker work with my colored pencils. >_>;
