That's the message I keep getting today, no matter what site I'm on. Bulbagarden, TV.com, Neopets, EVERY page I visit, it keeps saying that. (I'm using AOL Desktop 10.0 in case you need to know that.) What's going on, and how can I stop it?

Check your Internet security settings. The setting level is probably too secure. I don't know much about AOL Desktop...

It just started today, and I didn't change any security settings recently...

Lol, it must be warning you about AOL. lol! Hmm, well I'm not too familiar with the browser, but I have my guesses on what it could mean and what to do to stop it.

It could be trying to tell you that sending information over the web by logging in or posting messages is a security risk that you need to be aware of (and saying that in a lazy way) but for sites that you know, it isn't a big deal. It's just bad language/worded horribly because other web browsers will say something like that when there is treat of malicious applications.

You might be able to stop it if there is some kind of options or tools selection in the menu, then the security tab (assuming there is nothing in the pop-up to let you select to never show it again). It is just a guess, I've never used AOL, but that is what it seems from your description.

------------

It also could be from an update or some type of malicious program that infected AOL Desktop.
