Now I wasn't sure as to where to put this post, so I put it here just to be safe.

This is a thought experiment I've been pondering for some time now. Let's say that Game Freak and HAL shook hands and found a way to have Kirby as a hidden boss in the Mega Dimension DLC?

I imagine Kirby could combine expert agility to dodge your attacks with skilful use of his Copy Abilities to make himself one of the hardest bosses in the game. He has to be - this is the being who has gone up against eldritch abominations and literal gods, and WON! His in-universe title is "The Pink Demon", for crying out loud!

It's not that i don't believe they could hypothetically "shake hands" and make this possible. It's that I find it hard to imagine why they would have a motive to do so. I think it would be more likely there would be a Trainer named Kirby with a team consisting entirely of Kirby-like species or ones reminiscent of Kirby and famous characters from the franchise (e.g., King Dedede), and that this Trainer would have a full team of six with perfect IVs and thus be very difficult to beat. Making this character some kind of new legendary/mythical "fusion" of sorts, a la "Mother Beast" Lusamine, and resemble Kirby in the process, would be less plausible within Game Freak's style, but still more plausible than a direct Kirby inclusion.

Admittedly, there are non-Pokémon entities across the franchise, and Pokémon Legends Z-A had
just shown off Ange as one within the main series
, and the Ultra Beasts are arguably only tangentially Pokémon (given how Beast Balls work). However, direct inclusion is still not plausible.
