I understand I just learn about my pokemon and other pokemon's weaknesses and strengths like Umbreon is a dark type so her weakness is bug and fighting and she is strong against psychic and ghost I basiclly focus on the weakness though they are more important if you don't watch out for their weaknesses you will have a bad change of losing just study on your pokemon's strengths and weakness and you should be good to go that's advice if you need it
