Thread title editing?

I was browsing the War Room, and accidentally click one of the threads. Instead, the title converted into a text block format. I found that I could edit the title. I quickly closed the page and reopened it. Luckily, the original title was still there. Is this a glitch or something?

It isn't a glitch, it allows you to quickly edit thread titles if you are the creator of the thread.

If you find you can do this to thread titles that are not your own, then there's a problem.

Yes. It lets me edit other people's thread titles.

Does it actually let you save the new title, though? I remember someone reporting this a while back, and while it let them seem like they were changing the title, the new title that they wrote didn't actually save - it reverted back to the original.

I didn't try to save it on other people's threads, I didn't want to mess with their stuff and/or the rules. It seems as I can only do it on certain forums, when I tried to edit my sister's threads (under her permission) it wouldn't let me.

Switcheroo is correct, this isn't an issue. If you are not the owner of the thread, it won't let you save the changes you made to the thread's title. The same thing has happened to me and a few others, and even when I tried to edit a thread's title that wasn't mine, it wouldn't let me save; on the other hand, if I tried to change my own thread's title, it would work just fine.
