Three discs?

Amazon.com has started taking pre-orders for the ninth movie. However, in addition to the regular DVD, there is some sort of Amazon exclusive three disc set.

Discuss?

I think this is probably one of those Amazon.com exclusive packges where they include different unrelated DVDs together. They've done it before, like when they packaged the first few Pokemon movies together. If this was really some 3 disc special edition version of movie 9 then it probably wouldn;t be amazon exclusive

PUSA should put May's ending theme on the DVD as a bonus.

With Movie 8 being a pretty recent release, they may package movie 8 and movie 9 together. (Movie 8 and Mastermind DVD and Movie 9). It would be nice to see special features though.

It has now been confirmed that the 3 disk set is:
Disk 1 - Movie 9
Disk 2 - Pikachu's Island Adventure
Disk 3 - A Pokemon Advanced Battle DVD

I was hoping for the full version of Deoxys Crisis too...

No, PE2K confirmed that it is on the first disc.

Both are "Bonus" and the normal box art does not have it listed. PE2K is also an unreliable source.

They get exclusive info every once and a while.

Oh boy... anyone else getting the vibe that it's gonna be "Gaining Groudon!" and "The Scuffle of Legends!" to complement "Temple of the Sea" being the last hurrah for the AG lineup ?

It's an animated short that aired exclusively as an in-flight movie on the ANA Airlines planes.

But they're releasing Advance Battle DVDs seperately anyway. Anyone who didn't want the film won't be affected by that. It's just a bonus for those who want it to save money (but also direct it towards Amazon).

Did the shorts from the years of movie 7 and 8 get dubbed?
