Now that Galactic is over, I kinda hope those new Team Rocket admins appear in the anime. I'm really hoping TR returns to the fold as the main villains again.

Giovanni hasn't had a major role since the Mewtwo Returns special back in Johto. That was back in 2001, and we're now almost in 2010.

I hope so, we actually did not get a Team Rocket arc like Team Aqua and Team Magma and Team Galactic did. I know Jesse, James and Meowth follow Ash and Co. around but that does not count. So Silver maybe will have an appearance soon.

I don't think that should hold back the creators from introducing Silver into the anime....I think that's a little bit ridiculous, especially since May and Dawn seem to be the same a little bit also. I mean, sure....nobody's the EXACT same in the Pokemon World like our own, but just like in real life there's bound to be a handful of people that are similar to each other. That pic of Silver in the anime is solid proof that he at least exists SOMEWHERE (more likely Johto) in the Pokemon World, so there's no use stopping another appearance from happening in the future.

I agree that Silver can make a possible appearance. Although, I don't think there's any reason for Ash to go back to Johto (Since Silver is more likely to be in Johto). There's nothing for him to do there. Unless he tries out for the Pokethlon or something, and meat up with Kotone to travel with her. Although Kotone's appearance outside of Johto may also imply a possibility for Silver to appear outside of Johto as well. Hmmm, I just came up with this as I was typing this. And about the Rocket Executives appearing as well, I sure hope they do. But both Apollo, and Athena have outfits resembling James and Jesse respectively, even the hair color. I still don't know why there's another Lance, and if both Lances appear together would be something the writers may want to avoid. But hopefully we get more references, or if an arc is based on it or something.

They are going back. Mostly because there is no reason not to.

There's very little reason to travel back to Johto when all the HGSS elements like Kotone and the Pokethlon have appeared in Sinnoh. Palmer and the other Brains are likely in Sinnoh.

I have no idea why people think Ash is going to go back to Johto. There's not one thing implying that in the anime.

There was no reason at all to go back to Kanto either
Also, one little island isn't enough to fill 2 years and Dawn won't have anything to do
The BF can move to Johto similar to the games, only the anime will actually give an expalantion
Or the BF becomes a short arc, and then we get to Johto... the wait is probably going to be so long, that they might consider doing something like this to stretch it even longer

I'm pretty sure we went over this already. The writers didn't even put the slightest hint that Johto would be re-visited, they've instead did everything to imply there is more to do in Sinnoh instead.

They didn't do anything to hint either way, just like they didn't hint for either way in AG, just stop with your crazyness -_-
We can't know what will happen until it happens and that's it, there's nothing more to say

This time however there are hints to an E4 arc, whereas no previous gen had this. Why would Ash leave Sinnoh and then come back? The Sinnoh Elite 4 won't be in any other region.

Likewise, Ash's newest capture (spoilers), is a Sinnoh Pokemon, why advertise that instead of more Johto Pokemon?

You know, the writers can do what the writers want to do. Ash has made a stop in Pallet after every region thus far anyways, so he'd have to go back that direction anyways. There is no reason for him to NOT go to Johto.

What exactly is Ash to do in Johto? If HGSS had a new set of Frontier Brains then I could understand, but they're the same as Platinum's and its more or less confirmed those are in Sinnoh in the anime.

Other than that, Kotone and the Pokethlon have been given episodes in Sinnoh, and all other Johto elements have been covered already.

What is there to do in Johto...?
