Okay so Say that their planet had incredibly more mass and spun faster as well as rotated around the sun faster and the sun may or may not be bigger.

So for example
5 years on this planet
Is only
1 year on their planet

Would they be able to get more done?
Or would they still age/do everything at the same speed.
Is the time slowdown only our perspective?

And really they would be the exact same?

Ie if I was to go there and live would I live one year as far as aging but be able to to dig a hole that would take me 7 years?

Or would I just dig the hole for 7 years ageing normally and it just would have felt like 49 years but really only been 7 in terms of aging

Or would I just dig for 7 years and it would feel like 7 years

If they came here would they notice they were aging very fast or they would age the same.

I get that time can slowdown but I don't get if you slow down
or you keep you're speed and do allot in a small amount of time.

People who know about spacetime
Also did Einstein die believing this?
and
Is it possible gravity just messes up atomic clocks?

Talk about confused:dizzy:

No matter how fast a planet spins on its axis or goes about its sun, time is still the same for someone on it as it is for someone on Earth.

A construction project here on Earth takes three years. Three times the Earth circles the sun.

A construction project on Mars takes three years. It takes the same amount of time because we're measuring from the same base: Earth years. If you went in Mars years, it'd be roughly one and a half Martian years, but the Earth would have gone around the sun THREE TIMES, no more, no less.

Also, if a planet goes around its sun faster and rotates faster, that means it'll complete more of its days and more of its years in the same time that it takes for Earth to.

So no, there's no time slowdown. There's different calendar systems. It's like asking if your DSi's smaller than mine because it's 5.25 inches, while mine's 13.33 centimeters.

Einstein's timespace theory

If you go fast time slows down
If you are in a place with allot of gravity time slows down
by years I meant the seconds in a year not a year in its deffinition of rotation around the sun

1 year is once around the sun
1 year is _____ seconds

Sub that in for everytime I said year

There have been tests with atomic clocks that show the more gravity you are in the slower time goes by.

You don't understand the nature of my question.

look up gravitational time dialation

My question is do you age slower if you are in a higher gravity that has time going slower
or would you live the same amount earth time and just die in a much shorter time there.

The robot pic was funny though.

Why would you be digging a seven year hole anyway? (In anime time) Wouldn't that still be,... uh... _ years in our world? (Lazy and can't find calculator, but digging a hole for even a year?)

Einstein's theory is more like a spaceship going INCREDIBLY fast, like at almost light speed. A planet moving slightly faster wouldn't really have a noticeable effect in a human's lifetime.

I recall them reference "earth" as the planet they live on a few times in the anime and in the games. I can't cite specific instances off the top of my head, but it has happened.

If, by time dilation, one year passed on another planet in the time it took five years to pass here, we'd just notice those people going five times slower. They wouldn't be able to tell they were going "slow" though, in fact they'd notice us going 5 times faster. So whatever it takes us 5 of our years to do, it would take them 5 of their years to do.

What Einstein ment was if you got in a spaceship and went faster than the speed of light, then took out a telescope and looked back on the Earth, you would see the past because you would be traveling faster than the image that you are viewing.

No, that's actually not what he meant at all.

Yeah, that's what he meant. You have to be moving at near-to-lightspeed to get any noticeable time dilation.

Learn relativity or get out of my universe.

Okay, So the reason they are still young is that they experience time normally but in fact slower
It's been like 8 years since it's started
but only been like 2-3 in the anime
Reason being there time is slower
Now they haven't done as much as we have
ie haven't had this many years of time

In other words
Me and ash started at the same age
He is only like 13
When I am 18

Because my planets time moves so much faster than his
He has still only experienced 3 years though.

Well now we know why they are still young.
and age/do things slower.

Yeah, that's what he meant. You have to be moving at near-to-lightspeed to get any noticeable time dilation.

SPACETIME space and time are the same thing and related to gravity
more gravity slower time.

Not faster than light time travel just time dialation.

There is time dialation from just a few feet off the planet to the ground.

Well its all said in the post above this one.
Thanks for the reply though.

Your universe? Which one would that be?

I really hate to say this, but you're just an attention wh*re (or troll) looking for acceptance on an online pokemon forum when it all boils downto, Noone cares that you found a cute little bug in pokemon time theory.

However, if you paid more attention to the episodes, you'd realise that christmas only passed once.
There's not a new pokemon episode every day, is there?
No.
maybe a few a week.
which still represent days, but in a different order.

Now in 'tard terms for you.
Humans are slacking off and not translating the pokemon world quickly enough so theyre falling behind which means we can't watch them on our TV's every day of our lives (even though their day only lasts 22 minutes!).

It's a f*cking TV show, kid.
Get over it.
It's not 'neato' that you're trying to act like a monstrous nerd about something you know absolute jack sh*t about.

Google Twin "Paradox" for some fun effects of this.

And as for that theory...flawed but try and amuse yourself by making something for Archie comics. :p

You 17 year old little kid

You have succeed in pissing me off
Now im gonna try and not get personal like you are
So I wont say anything about you're teenage death metal band that's "professional" music and does not show up on google

nor will I comment on the fact I checked you're posts and not one of them was constructive in anyway

Just little comments that help and hurt noone
Why you even post here I don't know

I worked hard on that theory it has been 8 years since it started and he is still 10
1000 something episodes that fits perfectly into my theory of the number of years
Figuring 3 to 4 big tournaments I assume are held once a year
Do you get 8 badges in less than a year
I dout it

So Leave me alone leave you're anger at the door this is a site with little kids on it.

Btw calling me a loser for this is not going to work

See I unlike you got back into pokemon because I want to make my story

A story for adults that if made you could not even read do to you're age

You are a 17 year old kid who actually likes pokemon
(nothing against it to all you old guys here)
But thats a little sad
I watch all the episodes I watched recently just to get info for my story
My story that cannot have any plot holes and everything must be accounted for.

The time dilation theory is necessary
There are 365 days in a year
Like 1000 somthing episodes
Dividing roughly to 3 years if there is an episode per day.

So please leave and don't bother me again.
Thank you

Oh, the irony! That's actually pretty funny.
