Time-limited special expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket to arrive in game next week — Each 4 card pack to contain guaranteed ♢♢♢♢ card

Someone made an oopsie on the Pokémon Trading Card Pocket's official Japanese account on X, with the early post, and swift deletion, of an announcement for the game's next expansion. The High Class Pack ex, which we suspect may simply be named ex for the international release, will be available for one month only, is set to launch worldwide on Tuesday September 30th at 3:00pm (JST) / 6:00am (UTC) / Monday September 29th at 11:00pm (PDT).

Boosters in this special expansion will only contain 4 cards, however 1 card in every pack is guaranteed to be at least rarity. The set includes many reprinted ex cards from sets released to date, including but not necessarily limited to the following cards that were featured in the short compilation of commercials that were included in the deleted post:

• Charizard ex (Shining Revelry 10)
• Giratina ex (Shining Revelry 35)
• Eevee ex (Eevee Grove 56)
• Pachirisu ex (Space Time Smackdown 61)
• Lucario ex (Shining Revelry 43)
• Articuno ex (Genetic Apex 84)
• Ho-Oh ex (Wisdom of Sea and Sky 34)
• Moltres ex (Genetic Apex 47)
• Exeggutor ex (Genetic Apex 23)

A wide array of previously released cards for popular Pokémon will also be receiving new and versions, including:

• version of Professor's Research [Professor Oak] (Promo-A 007)
• version of Greninja (Genetic Apex 89)
• version of Pikachu ex (Genetic Apex 96)
• version of Gardevoir (Genetic Apex 132)

Further information on the set, as well as upcoming in-game events that will run over October, are expected to be released with the official announcement of the special expansion, which we anticipate should arrive within the next 24 hours.

 

That actually sounds pretty neat! Esp with the abyssmal droprates TCGP has. Can't wait for the 'official' worldwide release of the trailer/teaser/news!

 

If they put the rainbow rare/full art crobat ex I'll have to switch to pulling on that... still don't have either despite pulling exclusively on the ho-oh packs since they dropped
