We all know about Gen III and that the time effect is not really working usually. Well, I have found a few ways to keep this effect working.
Now, because the time effect stops due to Gen III's Berry Glitch, you can't do much in Gen III, making the Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald more and more boring. But here's what you can do:
  • Collect all the Berries but don't plant them. If you want to plant a berry, plant only one and wait.
  • Make a New Save.
Have any ideas? Post here!

Just link up with Colosseum or XD. This may seem like a waste of money but the games are good on their own (and fix the glitch).

Or use the in-game Berry Program Update. Since I have Emerald, it ain't gonna be a problem.
But there is one problem. I don't have a GBA Link Cable and another GBA to fix this problem.

Either find an amazon or a friend, or get colosseum and a gamecube, because they are good games.

I thought this thread would be about how to keep time going naturally even if your cartridge's battery has died. I have no honest idea what it's actually about, or how I even got here.

Emerald is not susceptible to the berry glitch, however eventually the clock's battery will die, after which it's effectively the same. (At least you don't lose your save file!)
