Merely a few days prior North Point High had opened its doors to all of its new students along with its facilities. Holding many buildings not just for its school one but for its Heroic department, complete with sport stadiums this school was always bustling. However, this time the school had decided to have a different kind of day.

Merely five days after starting classes on the first saturday of the year North Point High held its famous Hero Festival, a carnival of sorts with events, games and guests all meant for the public and students (both living in the school's dorms and outside) to enjoy. The whole place had been fully decorated in only a few days with the help of its staff, complete with park attractions such as carousels and the like and booths that sold food and held game challenges for guests. The whole place had gone from being just a simple school to a wonderland for others.

"Boy, this place sure likes to show off don't they?" Natalie pointed out to herself, walking along the school grounds as she walked out of the dormitory building located on the upper end of the school, meeting with a variety of stalls and people as soon as she entered the school area.

She had managed to enter the Heroics Department as a sophemore that year, something that made her really happy as she would finally have a main place to live in. The dormitories had been a good place to live, with all the commodities she figured she needed and more and the classes themselves both from the school and the Heroic Department were interesting enough, though she definetily preferred the ones that helped her hone her powers more in the end.

"Well, might as well enjoy the festivities here huh?" the girl grinned, taking out her student id and using it to get some free food as she began walking around the festival. "Maybe I'll be able to find some fun around here myself."

***

Coming out of the dormitory was a boy with dark skin and short curly black hair, his brown eyes staring in awe at everything around the school as he lowered his yellow headphones down and around his neck. "Amazing....is that Fighting Eagle oh my god!" He exclaimed in disbelief as he looked up at he sky, noticing a man flying with a pair of large white eagle wings and people cheering for him. "So this is the Hero Festival I had heard of back home."

Diego Sonata was a young freshman, having just arrived at North Point City after being accepted to the high school he was getting a lot of new experiences, though he still missed his old home in Colorado he still enjoyed the fact that he was able to spend his days in his new school, though he still had some trouble getting a proper hang of his new classes in the school. "I wonder what I should do," Diego wondered to himself as he wandered into the festival, gasping whenever he chanced upon a Licensed Hero that he had heard about before.

"I can never get used to how showy all of this is," Zen commented as he stood in front of North Point High's entrance. He was wearing a pair of thorn jeans along with a figure hugging black shirt with a designed white star on the center, the words Fly High were written below the star. "Well I guess I can't miss this day in the end," Zen sighed, brushing his hair with his hands in annoyance.

"Your father wouldn't approve of it," a woman with long black hair walked next to Zen, her green eyes staring at the young man before bowing respectfully. "Hence why he ordered me to make sure you came."

"I only come cause of the Licensed Heroes that come visit," Zen shrugged nonchalantly, putting his hands on his waist. "The events they allow the students to participate in here are a good way to leave a good impression on Hero Agencies and the heroes that work for them, any student that misses out on it will have a bad start once they graduate and decide to join an Agency."

"Always thinking of the future I see."

"...I just want to get an advantage," Zen shook his head before turning around and beginning to walk into the school. "Anyways, just go back home, I'll call you once the festival is over."

OOC: And so begins this RP! rather sudden I know but hey, it works better as a surpise doesn't it? I bet you were even expecting some kind of first school day type of thing. Well you're wrong!

Anyways for now just have your characters come to the school or if they live in the dorms they can go out and go to the festival, you can also talk to each other and such for now while the festival gets going and all. Also it's a saturday, the characters have already had their first wek of school
@Midorikawa; @Infinity Storm; @Ladies and Gentlemen; @Terram; @Detective Calvin; @Yun; @Ib All Alone; @Yang Xiao Long; @Kimono Dragon; @Ravio; (as a little reminder to get your sign up ready :p)

Outside of the school, Michael was enjoying the sights before him as he made his way to the entrance. He was pulling a suitcase behind him, having just arrived in the area earlier that day. As much as he needed to go drop off his belongings in his dorm room and become acquainted with the area, he couldn't help but smile at the joyful festivities. In his rush to pack up and travel to the school, he'd completely forgotten about the festival, and as such, it was proving to be quite a pleasant surprise.

Eventually, Michael's mind returned to reality, and shortly after, the teenager made his way through the entrance and into the school itself.

Ib herself wasn't too thrilled with the festival, but went on her way as she slowly walked around. She herself wasn't entirely sure as to why she got into the Heroics Department. Just as she was pondering this, she bumped into Natalie.

"Ah..sorry." She apologized in a quiet voice.

"Watch where you're going a little more," Natalie groaned as she moved back due to colliding with Ib, she noticing that the girl seemed to be shy and genuinly sorry about crashing with her. She sighed to herself, scratching the back of her head. "Sorry, are you okay?" she asked with slight concern.

Zen noticed Michael walking into the school with his things, raising at eyebrow at the fact he seemed to just be moving in even though the school had been opened for a week. "Guess he must be a late comer," he said to himself as he noticed some of his friends from normal classes and went to talk with them.

"Okay so we're going to do the buddy system," Maria directed her six siblings.

"I'm fourteen and a freshman. I refuse to be stuck with my siblings. It looks bad," Serafina immediately objected.

Maria rolled her eyes before looking at her brother Blood, face invisible due to the large hood he always wore. He was a bit strange, never speaking, never showing his face. The whole family didn't know what he looked like or sounded like. Except Maria. And even that was only recently, and only through thoughts. It had taken forever for him to actually talk to her at all. "Thanks she smiled at him. Boom, Angel you two stick with Blood. Sparky, Raven, I think I can trust you to be fine on your own."

"He's only a year older than me. Why does he get to wander off without a babysitter," her brunette haired brother Boom immediately whined.

"Because he'll be with Raven. And let's face it. Can't leave Angel alone with Mr. I don't talk now can we?"

"No," he shook his head.

"Maria it's fine. The five of us can stick together," the red headed Sparky spoke up, pushing his glasses up.

"Raven is that fine with you?" she turned towards the black haired girl.

"Yeah I don't mind. Don't worry about it. I probably fit better with our gloomy brother anyways," she shrugged.

"Are you all sure? I-"

"Maria!" they scolded her quickly.

"Alright alright. I'm going," she put her hands up defensively as she backed away for a few steps. She then turned and began walking away, sighing. She rather spend the festival with her siblings, but nope. They were forcing her to spend it with her classmates. Blood wasn't getting the same treatment though because he was well....Blood. Thus there she walked around the festival in a light blue long sleeved blouse and blue jean capris with some black converse.

Serafina meanwhile, easily left behind her siblings, skipping slightly at finally being old enough to be on her own. She wore a black/white/grey plaid skirt, black converse, and a black short sleeved blouse. She looked around, hoping to find one of her classmates.

"I'm fine," Ib replied with a gentle smile, crimson irises gleaming as the senior continued on her way. In her hands was a beautiful rose, the same color of her ruby red eyes.

Ciana wasn't overly interested in the festival or any of the people that would be there. She just wanted to stay in her dorm and play Tetris, yet something told her that something significant would happen at the festival. Being a psychic, Ciana learned from experience not to ignore her sixth sense. Grudgingly, she changed from her inside clothes to a blue long-sleeved turtleneck and blue jeans and slid on a pair of knee boots. As an afterthought, she combed her hair to make it look presentable. Once she decided she looked okay, she went outside to the festival and started walking around. The more she walked, the more her anxiety began to mount, and she hoped none of her numerous bullies would show up and start messing with her.

"Do we really have to go to this festival?" Camille whined as she walked behind her much larger fraternal twin brother out of the dorms towards the festival. " You know I don't like social gatherings!"

"C'mon, live a little, sis! Have some fun once in awhile!" Calvin cheered as they walked. "I'm practically obligated to show up, since I am the star quarterback. Everyone's gonna want to at least say hi to me."

"If it's you they want, why am I here?" Camille grumbled.

"So I can protect you," Calvin bluntly replied. "No one's gonna bully you when your six-foot-five star quarterback of a brother is with you. Besides, we made an agreement that you would try to have more fun, like me."

"Oh, fine," Camille sighed, walking closer to Calvin. "But only because I did agree to have fun. I don't break promises."

"That's the spirit!" Calvin cheered as they finally arrived at the festival. "Enter fans in three, two, one..."

Camille rolled her eyes at the thought of Calvin's many fans.

((Hey, we have dorm mates, right? Does anyone want to be Victor's? He's very pretty and he has a lot of comic books and he'll share his weights with your character.))

Having arrived at the Academy a mere five days ago, Victor had familiarized himself with the facility a bit. He found it fairly easy to navigate. But he was a bit lonely. He'd not really gotten acquainted with the other students so far. As he wandered around the carnival, he did a little people watching. He saw a tiny girl with...Were those red eyes? Was she in the heroics program? He'd have to pay attention to her. Victor saw her bump into another girl. In his comics, this always led to some kind of kickass battle. He hoped it wouldn't come to that. He passed by another guy. Even taller than he was, though by just a hair. He wanted to go and talk to one, but he was a bit worried he'd be recognized. His dad being arrested, the whole thing had been a media circus. He'd keep his head down for a while. He'd just play some games and maybe go back to his dorm.

Victor was at the milk bottle game. The one where you have to throw a ball and knock them all over. That seemed like something he could do. He avoided the more reflex-based ones. It wouldn't be fair, considering his powers. But this one, this one was something he was good at, and he'd earned his skill at it. He stepped back, took aim, and hurled the ball, his toned muscles sending it careening into the bottles, knocking all of them over.

"Congratulations, son! You won the grand prize." The man running the stand said. He was a small, thin old man with a warm smile and greed handlebar mustach. Which made Victor wonder how he was carrying that hugeass stuffed bear. That thing was about the size of a small child.

"Er. Thanks!" Victor said, trying his best to seem enthusiastic. It was kinda cute, but he was a little old for stuffed animals, and it'd take up a lot of space in his cramped dorm. And he wasn't sure he fancied hauling it around the carnival.

"Uh. I'm a powered. So you sure it counts?" He asked the guy running the thing.

"Do you have any idea how long I've been trying to get rid of that? 'Sides, a pretty boy like you can give it to his girlfriend." The man said. Victor took the stuffed animal over his shoulder and decided to head off before the man tried to give him another over large stuffed toy. As he passed by a girl with brown hair surrounded by kids, he wondered if maybe he could just give it away to some kid.

Maria seeing Victor pass by her, immediately turned around. "Excuse me can you tell me what booth you found that bear at? My siblings would love if I got them one," she said, giving Victor a friendly smile.

Imera opened her mouth and then took a bite out of the pink cotton candy, indulging in its sweet sugary taste as she exclaimed, "So delicious!~" She then took a look at her brother, who was walking with her solemnly and emptyhanded. "How come you didn't get anything from the booth? They had a whole bunch of other sweets like ice cream and cookies, y'know?" Nychto sighed and replied nonchalantly, "I'm not hungry right now." Imera furrowed her brow and pouted at her brother. "You know being asocial doesn't mean you have to be ass-social," the girl snarkily stated, "especially to your dear sister."

"Original and hilarious," Nychto said to his sister. "Did you make sure all of our clothes and toiletries were in the suitcases?" Imera stuck her chest out forward, "I quintuple-checked every single bag and not a thing was missing, especially not my guitar," she boasted as she tapped the instrument strapped to her back. Nychto chuckled and then looked around at the carnival. Students were walking, flying, crawling, and even slithering around the place. The white-haired boy then spotted a pitching booth with an assortment of stuffed animals lining the top of the wooden structure.

"Hmm, I guess I should try having so more fun," Nychto thought to himself as he walked up to the booth and flashed his card. The vendor simply sighed and gave the boy the only baseball that wasn't either scorched or exploded. Nychto took a deep breath and threw the baseball as hard as he could at the red target, yet the baseball suddenly seemed to slow down as it slowly hit the target enough for the bell to be rung. The vendor sighed again as he motioned toward the array of toys. "Sis, which one do you want?" "Hmmm...I'd like the pink bunny please!" The man pulled the "cottontail" off the rack and handed to the gleeful red-headed girl as the twins walked off in search of more fun.

After finding a place to store his suitcase until he figured out the rooming situation, Michael decided to partake in the festivities. Were he not visibly young, his attire might have warranted someone mistaking him for a teacher, rather than the student he was. Regardless, he had time to burn, and was a bit eager to see what the celebration had to offer, and as such he quickly made his way down to the fair.

He wandered around for a few minutes, deciding to keep to himself for the time being. However, before too terribly long, his eyes locked onto a high striker. Since no one seemed to be in line to test their strength, he made his way over to it, setting his bag down before asking the man working the game to hand the hammer to him. The man eyed him over, laughing to himself before saying "Kid, don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think you're exactly built for this. There's a lot of easier games around the carnival." Michael shook his head, insisting on trying the high striker, and the man eventually shrugged and held out a sledgehammer.

Before he took the hammer, a green glow escaped from Michael's eyes, and moments later his arms exhibited a similar effect. As the man watched curiously, Michael took the hammer and, after giving it a few trial swings, slammed it down onto the pad at the machine's base. The puck immediately skyrocketed, slamming into the bell at the machine's top with a loud ring, earning a round of applause from the man and several passerby.

Victor turned his neck to look at the girl who was talking to him. Well, tried to. The bear was in the way. So he had to kinda turn on his heels. He looked a bit silly. Pretty though he was, his clothes looked like something a delinquent might wear. A black tank-top with a skull on the front, and a black collar with small metal studes, complete with a pair of acid-washed jeans. His clothes looked like those of someone who had asked themselves What can I wear that will let people know I am a Bad Dude?

Which was completely nullified by the stuffed animal he was lugging around. Victor himself seemed to realize this. A twinkle in his eye showed a sudden insight. He took the bear in his arms, and handed it to Maria. Victor being a tall boy, and Maria being an average girl, he was a fair amount bigger than her. So while he might have a little difficulty with the bear, it was feasible that she would have a lot.

"Take it. I don't think it would go well with my carpet." He said.

Maria had to back-step slightly at the bear being given to her. Immediately however she made it float for easier carrying method. "Are you sure? You won it. Don't you want to keep it or give it someone close to you?" she asked him curiously.

Brad had made his way to the food booths right away. His favorite part of the festival was the food. So much fried food, so little time. After grabbing a dozen hot dogs, three orders of fried dough and two large pizzas, he sat down at one of the tables to enjoy his feast.

Victor watched as Maria floated the bear. A lot of people would have been taken aback by it, but Victor didn't bat an eyelash. Though he'd developed his powers fairly recently, he'd been born to a supervillain. So that sort of thing, while certainly impressive, was by no means startling.

"I'm more into giraffes." He said, a slight trace of a smile crossing his face, barely detectable. It was hard to tell if he was joking or not. "And I just moved here."

After his stomach let out a loud growl, Michael made his way over to the food tents, having drained his stomach through the hasty use of the Bio Accelerant. Within minutes he was trying to find a place to sit, now carrying a large order of nachos, a pizza, and multiple orders of fries. Unfortunately, his luck at finding a place to sit was not going nearly as well as the carnival game had. He finally found a place to sit at Brad' s and promptly walked over.

"Hey mind if I sit here and load up?" he asked, noticing that Brad was seemingly carbo loading as well.

After walking around a bit, Ib decided to sit down at Brad's table as well, tucking her rose away in her pocket. She began to nibble away at a plate of colorful macarons. She studied the table's occupants, particularly Brad and Michael.

"Of course, have a seat, enjoy." Brad smiled at his new tablemates between bites. "Brad Benson, fastest man alive." He introduced himself before downing another hot dog in one bite.

Ib returned to her food, subconsciously using her power out of her shyness. To the human eye, it seemed as if she had faded away, leaving only seemingly levitating macarons that kept vanishing. Soon, the plate of pastries was gone. Her camouflage still active, Ib's dark red eyes began visible. Realizing that she had technically disappeared, Ib materialized quickly, fiddling with the red rose from earlier.
