To Be A Master, But Faster

Let's see:

1): Normally Pikachu's Thundershock should not affect Geodude, but seeing as how electric-type attacks do a lot of damage to ground-types in the anime...
2): Ash first battles Sabrina in the anime, then Erika, and then Koga. You presented it in the order of the gym badges in the games- Erika, Koga, Sabrina.
3): In the anime, Koga uses a Golbat to fight against Ash's Charmander. While he does use Venomoth, it is mostly Pidgeotto who fights it.
4): Ash never fights Giovanni in the anime. He fights Team Rocket as the eighth gym leaders. Also, Ash never fights Giovanni's Golem. Team Rocket uses Machamp, Kingler, and Rhydon, in addition to their own pokemon- Arbok and Weezing.

win. By hax. I beed to do something like this. *Takes on Hiro KamenKami mode* Umbreon, uses shadow ball. Now Use Double team.

A point that he addressed in the TP. Come on, who doesn't know that Thundershock won't affect groundies in the games? And last I checked, they stopped doing that in the anime anyway.

And ultimately Charmander who finishes the fight. Why go through a middle man? There was also the Bulbasaur and Gloom match with Erika that wasn't shown - they were obviously trying to keep each one of the gyms relatively simple.

It was "inspired" by the anime, not an exact replica. To have 2 TR members, Ash, and a whole brawl of like 5 on 5 Pokemon would simply look like a mess on there, that they probably wouldn't even be able to fit properly. When dealing with theatre, you have to manage your space.

That was amazing. Whoever was portraying Ash was a little over the top, but that just made it better!
