Pokemon diamond and pearl are too basic. I mean they should have at least add some more challenges from your rival and team galactic.I mean come on.:banana:

I think what you mean by 'basic' is that it was too easy, and I agree, though a good battle really depends on what moves the A.I. chooses, but they might up the levels in the third version...I don't know...

The Elite Four wasn't too easy.

But then again, my Pokémon were all fairly low leveled in comparison, yet I still beat them...okay, they were easy.

That's because the regular gameplay is supposed to be accessible to everyone. You don't need to be obsessed with Pokemon to beat the game. However, there are plenty of things to do on the side that you do need to put considerable time and effort into in order to do, such as building a competitive battling team or winning contests.

Having some challenge wouldn't be too bad, though. Is there really any good reason for not having some opponents with 6 level 100 pokemon for you to fight at the end of the game? Would make levelling a lot easier too.

Omg Gamefreakz Iz Running Out Of Ideaz
I have noticed that this phrase is almost always used by someone these days whenever the games are criticized. I don't really understand the impulse to mock rather legitimate complaints instead of arguing for the opposite opinion.

I would have chosen to argue the OP's point of view if he/she had actually an elaborated complain and not just two lines ending with a couple of random emoticons.

Seriously, aren't you people tired of the same stupid complains? The games are enjoyable and they had entertaining add ons like the poke-radar, the underground and the battle zone.

If you want a complex RPG, you're buying the wrong games.

I don't actually think the original poster deserved a serious response (no offense intended to him), but I also don't think we should be comfortably using that phrase. By using it we give the impression that we are perfectly content with Game Freak's lack of aspirations, when I don't believe that is true for the majority of fans.
