Toonami Jetstream closes its doors: Pokémon not transferred to CN Video

Cartoon Network's Toonami Jetstream, a Web site that streamed episodes of shows such as Pokémon, closed abruptly on Friday. As of the current listings, Pokémon was not relocated to Cartoon Network Video along with select other shows.

That's terrible, that's one of the places I watch the show.

Aww! That's where I watch my Pokemon episodes at. I knew it was gonna close at some point after the channel became defunct.

I never understood why Pokemon.com doesn't officially stream the old seasons of Pokemon.

They could legally stream every saga pre-DP and put up all previous 9 seasons that don't air on TV anymore.

Considering there's so many eps of the series now, its almost impossible to watch them all unless they're available to you.

Universal opinion: Fuck you CN.

Well, how many other companies do the same thing to their anime, show the previous seasons?

And the last remnants of Toonami officially die. :-( We're lucky it lasted this long.

I'd like to know what that thing is on the farewell page and why it's not Tom.

Isn't Pokemon.com owned by PUSA? It would make more sense for Viz to have it avaliable for steaming, but they don't have a streaming site (bar Naruto anyway).

The last home for TOM Was the Internet ,
Now its Not.
Bring Back Toonami and the Real Cartoon Network !!
F""ck CN , ITs Just another channel to me !!

Easy: They want people to buy the DVD box sets that are still on store shelves.

The DVDs for the stuff Toonami Jetstream was streaming have long since been out of print. But the Kanto seasons? You can still walk into any Best Buy and pick those DVDs up.

Toonami got canceled because nobody was watching it.

Yet...they still never bothered to release half the older seasons pre-DP on DVD boxsets. They're not even announced and for all we know its never going to happen.

Maybe not. But from PUSA's point of view...would it be worth the time/money/effort to host Johto and Hoenn episodes on their site? Would this be something that your average ten-year old really cares about?

To bad this happen, but lets face it once Toonaami was canceled we all should have known that Jetsteream would be next.

It's Swampfire one of the forms of Ben Tennyson from Bne 10: Alien Force. Why they didn't use Tom. . . your guess is as go as mine Rocket Girl.

I blame the fact that all the shows Toonami aired towards the end of its existence stunk.

4kidsTV hosts all their Fox/WB shows on their video players, and they even still have the DVDs going. I don't see why PUSA/Pokemon.com doesn't have a streaming video player like theirs.

Likewise as for those older seasons, a good chunk of people never saw them and for the kids who are growing up with DP today and were too young back then, it would be a good way for them to catch up on some of the shows history.

thats so gay!
Toonami was a huge part of my childhood, how am I going to watch Hikaru no Go now?
