1: Zekrom! I'm sure anybody who paid enough attention to the story of Gen 5 would have gotten my username. In case you didn't, Zekrom is the pokemon of Ideals. I always liked that, and thought that Reshiram's mythology(pokemon of truth) was stupid because truth is an ideal that I try to live up to in my life. But my love of Zekrom goes far deeper than that. When I first even heard of pokemon, Diamond/Pearl was coming to a draw, and Pokemon had just released pictures of the new Gen 5 legendaries. I instantly fell in love with the Deep Black Pokemon. After BW was released, I bought a booster pack for one of the first expansions of the TGC and boom, Zekrom EX, one of the first "modern" EXes that came out. It might have been the greatest moment of my life so far. Unfortunately, I was in second grade, very naive, and easily intimidated by tall fourth graders on the bus. I let somebody "borrow" Zekrom EX, and that was the last I ever saw of my beloved dragon. Fortunately, when I mentioned I was giving all my pokemon cards to my best friend, who has more cards than he knew what to do with even to this day(he will be joining Bulbagarden Forums soon, his username will be Immortal Waffles) my dad took me out to a Target and I got the Zekrom Promo box. Today, after four years of rising through the ranks, I have earned back my reputation as a Pokemon Master, second only to Immortal Waffles. The card that came in the Promo box stands on a display stand in a card case, flanked by the figure that was included in the box and a Zekrom Happy Meals toy, and a newer Zekrom graces my Deck. Congrats to anyone still awake!
2: Arceus. If you have seen my posts/comments in the Contest Hall, you know that I am a strong believer in Arceus over Rayquaza/Mewtwo/Mew. Arceus did not just create the Sinnoh region, he created the pokemon world. Look up pokemon family tree, click on images. Arceus has a great move pool and is practically unbeatable in battle. Also, please don’t say “Arceus is a mythical, not a legendary, that is sooooo beeping annoying, I’m saying this because of my little brother, who is standing over me as I write this. He has said it about twenty times now. I know Arceus is a mythical already!
3: Dialga: Amazing design, Roar of Time= awesome.
4: It's got to be Yvetal. Ya, ya, destruction, lot of hate. But this guy has the greatest design since Dialga and powers just as good as Giratina's. I just love it’s
5: Giratina. It's 666. I know Giratina got a ton of hate for being the representation of the devil, having six legs, six neck thingymajigs, and six wing thingymajigs, therefore 666. I actually love the concept of a devil pokemon. There has to be a balance, right? You've got your light side, your dark side, Your Arceus, your Giratina, your Xearneas, your Yvetal. There's a real reason for that. And as much as I hate it's design, there's also a real reason for Kyurem. Sorry for getting all philosophical on you guys, but that's me for you.
6: Virizion: Some combination of great design and amazing moves makes this a great pokemon for me. I think Sacred Sword is the coolest move ever. Except for Meteor Swarm.
7: Zygarde. Great design. And see number 5.
8: Rayquaza. Now, I am strictly an Arceus person, I do not think that Rayquaza is better than Arceus. But I do like it’s design, and it’s moves are not bad. Besides, I love snakes, pokemon or otherwise.
9: Lugia. Just Lugia.
10: Groudon. It’s tail is sweet. I’m just mad that it doesn’t know any shockwave moves. Or Iron Tail. Heck, I’d even be good with Tail Whip.
Well, those are my top ten favorite legendary pokemon. Again, this is just an opinion. If you happen to hate any of these pokemon, let me know in the replies, and I'll, ummm, reconsider my choice! SUPER CONGRATULATIONS to anybody who is still awake after reading this!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
