Title explains, you can also post hardest bosses on a specific video game/serie.

Here are some:

Metroid Fusion: (Only five, I've not faced about half of bosses.)

1: SA-X
2: Nightmare
3: Ridley
4: Nettori
5: B.O.X. (2)
6:
7:
8:

Super Mario RPG: (I have RPG's on different lists)
1: Bowyer (This guy is able to do FAST damage. And able to lock a button out.)
2: Megasmilax (I've not even beaten this guy!)
3-7: Coming!

Mario and Metroid series

1: Super Dimentio
2: Lakithunder
3: Fiery Dino Piranha
4: Nightmare
5: The Undergrunt Gunner (Toy Time Galaxy)
6: Bouldergeist (Daredevil)
7: Bowser Jr. (Airship Armada)
8: Eyerok
9: King Kaliente (Lava Reactor)
10: Serris

1. Ganon (Ocarina of Time)
2. Jellyfish Complex
3. Dodogon Boss
4. Erika (With Wartortle)

That's all I've got for now.

Aww, Lakithunder was frickin' crazy!

The hardest boss I've ever faced was General RAAM from Gears of War: On insane difficulty, one shot or one touch would kill you, and you had to put about 25 sniper shots in his face to put him down

I can't think of the hardest one to beat at the moment, but I certainly know the easiest one...

Darth Sion...y'know, for a self-resurrecting walking and talking (a lot of talking) corpse....man, he sucks, I could probably beat him with one arm tied behing my back...

And talk about talking...the monster to death. :)

Bowser from Super Mario World was pretty hard the first time.

I've only had problems with bosses on Star Ocean.
Everytime I would get my ass kicked by Gabriella / Iseria Queen because they shoot very fast lasers that 2HKO you most of the time.

The Etheral Queen on Valkyrie Profile 2 was also very hard because she had this thing about using her Explosion attack when all my party were together.
That move always did something like 35k damage to everyone, so I was pretty much screwed if she used it. (By the way, she doesn't blow up when she uses Explosion, like in Pokemon)

I was playing some mod for Diablo 2 LOD and it was super hard, it took forever to beat anyone, even easily, on normal Andarial was super hard, moreso than usual - Baal was the hardest to beat, and almost impossible on hell mode. There was a lot more creatures around too in the durance of hate and I remember once you killed him on hell mode, you got access to some new area never in Diableo 2 before (part of the mod only, not actually from Diablo 2) I don't remember the mod, but it took me overall 1 full day to beat hell mode with that mode when I got to Baal. (Thats a full 24 hours) petty you couldn't saw and load the game from where you are like in original Diablo, but I suppose there are advantages and disadvantages of starting again back in town when you save.

The battle against Demyx in Hollow Bastion in KH2. What a pain it was to kill those waterforms within 10 seconds...

Hm, the only difficult bosses I can think of at the moment were the Antlion from FFIX, Evrae from FFX, and Medusa from FFIII. I love FF games. :p

Theres one boss in Castlevania OoE that is impossible to beat, even on EASY mode.
It's the shadow boss in the basement of dracula's castle. he takes up half of the viable course and his attacks take up two thirds of the remaining part

Also...

Evil, they name is the Fire Dragon from FE7.

The most disturbing boss battle I've ever seen was Crocomire from Super Metroid for SNES. To defeat him, you have to force him into a lava pit. Succeed and you're treated to a gruesome sight: while he screams in pain, Crocomire tries to climb out of the pit only to fall in and die in agony. Afterwards, his skeleton climbs out of the pit and you have to shoot it.

I watched my ex defeat that thing many years ago. He didn't play Super Metroid for a month afterward. I couldn't blame him.

Try beating Abyssion, Kuchinawa, Rodyle, Third-form Sword Dancer, or Living Armor/Hell Knight (I think that's what they're called...) from Tales of Symphonia in Insane Mode. It's not easy unless you're at the highest possible level.

In no particular order...

Ganondorf.
Cyrus.
The Elite Four of pretty much any Pokémon game.
Oh! I just remembered! The boss from flOw.

...I guess I don't play enough videogames with bosses.

if you're wondering why, think about him for a minute. he's not really as disturbing as he is just 'holy shit, dude'. my little sister thinks he's awesome.

i wanted to include the exbelua versions of marble and rodyle, but i couldn't find good pictures of them. my sister also used to be afraid of kilia, although after i kept on scrolling through the monster list over and over again and forcing her to look at her i guess she got over it.

botta pissed me off at the beginning of the game because i was always underleveled (like, level six) when i got kidnapped so i could never beat him, but i grew to love him shortly afterward. i was so heartbroken when he died :(((

EDIT long time later: bullshit, tripod. the guy in the picture was mithos yggdrasill.

I would guess the last few are from Super Mario Galaxy?

I'd probably say.....

Sasuke(Naruto: Path Of The Ninja 2)
Bouldergeist(Super Mario Galaxy)
Tabuu(Super Smash Brothers Brawl)
Puppet Ganon(Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker)
Hoenn Elite 4(R/S/E)
Kracko(Kirby's Adventure)
Bongo Bongo(Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time)
Robot Plankton(Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom(and don't tell me this is stupid to say and its a little kids game because I had to fight this guy about 8 times before I finally won, its the hardest boss I've ever fought in a game based off a tv show))

I can't really think off two more, but the Star Wolf battle in Star Fox 64 was pretty hard.
