I've received a sort of confirmation from a person on eBay selling the entire Topps Pokemon set. It's stated on the back of card #52, which says "meanwhile Pikablu, Buru, Seubone and Raichu watch and laugh".
Yeah, those really were. I'm actually researching the phenomenon, and this is one of several official sources that refer to Marill as "Pikablu". It would do a lot to shut-up those that say we were all just "stupid kids" making-up "bullshit".

lol. It's too bad, the closest numbers I have are 48 and 55 to that one. I've no doubt they're the same cards you were talking about, though

I already sent you the one "Pikablu" card I had... There's a comic shop downtown that I've been to once or twice that I know has the Pokémon the First Movie cards... if I'm ever down there again and they're not too expensive I might pick up another pack.
I was looking at some topps cards online and I saw a card from the Movie 2000 series depicting Misty's conversation with Melody about her feelings for Ash. I can't find that image anymore, no matter what google searches I try. I'd search for the card name but I don't remember what it was, and there's no list of that series' cards that I know of. I don't suppose anyone knows what I'm talking about? I know it's really silly of me to ask, but I figured since we're all Pokemon obsessed nobody would mind.
Anyway, I recently found out about the Topps cards and got some for Christmas. They're one of the many old merchandise I wish I had collected before they became rare

I don't know what the name of the card you're specifically talking about is, but try searching "Pokemon Movie 2000 Topps cards" on Google to see if you can find any sort of database on them.
Found two lists! One is here and the other (in German) is here. The latter has images! The Google search I used to find these was just - pokemon the movie 2000 "lugia rises!" - (since one of the cards I have is named that), but I wouldn't have tried again if you hadn't suggested trying again, lol. Thanks!
