I'm not sure if this is in the right section. Sorry :|

I'm writing a FanFiction my main character, Hunter, is traveling through Sinnoh. I need a traveling partner with him and Marley. I thought either Lucian, Candice (Hunter's Sister), Gardenia, Roark, or Janice (Candice's Sister, OC). So who do you think might be good? Anybody else in mind you hade? Let me know.

well hunter already has a gym leader with him so i'd suggest you either use that sister character or you think of one who isn't a gym leader.
 
I don't really know if that matters, jasonwolf. From the looks of it, this fic takes place long before any of these people were Gym Leaders, so that's kind of irrelevant.

But on the other hand, Maylene is a kid in DPP anyway, so this would have to be at that point, or not long earlier . . . which begs the question: why are any of these Gym Leaders/E4 members going on a Pokemon journey around Sinnoh? I think some more context might be necessary here before opinions are given.
 
Candice would be snowed out of Snowpoint City with 24 ft. of snow. Janice, being the Ice Type Gym Leader in a made up region, left because there is a mass-murderer out to get Hunter and his family after he tried to get Hunter, but only killed his Pidove (may he rest in peace). Marley isn't a gym leader. Lucian would be fired from the Elite Four so Cynthia's best friend, Jordan, would be his replacement. Only to find out that Jordan is the mass-murderer's daughter. Roark ran away because his dad abuses him. Gardenia is because her Gym was run down. I know this whole series seems alot with Gory, but it's not. It's three years after Ash's Hoenn region. I hope thats enough details.

I think he should travel with Volkner...he is by far the most interesting gym leader IMO
