Well trainer's have been surfing and flying on Pokémon, ridinga bike, running, and walking. Do you think we'll get cars or motorcycles if we do go to a more techy region? Or will we just be walkin'. Will we get to ride on a pokémon like in Ranger or will we stay in the Norm?

I'd love to see more mass transit aside from the occasional ferry or train. It'd be nice if there were a region-wide monorail or something with stops at every major city that you gain access to at some point - it'd give people who don't want to use a move slot on Fly a way to get around easier, and add to the realism of the world.

Dive should be back, Another train to get to the other half of the region.

Yes to Dive! Also liking the idea of trains/shuttles. But you can only use them to get to locations you've beaten the Gym Leaders at. Keeps it from getting too simple to get around.

Or for the Underground, if it should return.

Maybe the new Underground could be the new Underwater! I love water more, now!!!

Yeah Dive was really cool. It made exploring Hoenn so much cooler. I think that mechanic needs to be expanded a bit more if it were to make a return

If there's another Water cave and more deepsea Pokemon, the mechanics may still remain the same. It could be advanced, like, moving with currents, or diving even more deeper.

Yeah dive was awesome, but give the kid some scuba gear or at least those little mouth-air things they wear in the anime. Just to add more realism.

I don't see the appeal of dive. It felt slower than surfing, the only Pokemon you ever find while diving is Clamperl, and the underwater enviroments are boring. The only good thing was the music. So unless they greatly improve the number of Pokemon and add things that make it interesting I hope I never have to see it make an appearance again.

Gee, let's see. Since the days of gen III we have gained two generations, improved mechanics for surfing (and by extension diving), better graphics, and we'll be getting new pokemon... If diving ever came back, OF COURSE it would be different.

Those changes would be ridiculously easy to implement, you know.

Would proposing like actually doing some flying and finding pokemon in clouds be too outlandish of an idea? Not like everywhere, cause flying is just convenient cause it's quick locomotion, but like at least one place where riding a pokemon is required.

I mean like personally I would hate it, but it would be something possible. Surprised it hasn't been proposed already.

Oh, I've thought of it, and I do admit it makes sense what with the number of birds. Even finding a legend in the clouds sounds nice. but that might be giving to much credit to GF, since there hasn't really been any sign of something like this happening. I'll reserve judgement on the idea till later.

Didn't you hear? They're going to make a move called Die, which will send you to the last Pokécenter you visited. It can only be used on roads during the day, and only if you're wearing blue.

Interesting idea. Perhaps the area where you do that would be high on a mountain that's easily accessible. There would be updrafts and down drafts to take you up and down. The only flaw I can see would be how to encounter wild Pokemon. Would it be like a cave, or would there be patches of clouds.
