"And that is why dolphins dont have legs. Any other questions before I go to work, Mary Ann?" I asked knowing I had to get going about four minutes ago.

"Uhm.... no uncle Trenton. Tell miss Ama I said hi." the cheery blond girl smiled, "I'm gonna go play with Tibbers now."

"Alright then." I said heading out the door.
 
I was sitting in the staff lounge, reading a book and wondering where my partner was. The other staff in there were chatting aimlessly amongst themselves, but I kept to myself with my book. I tended not to socialize much, other than Trent and Mary Ann.
 
I hurried across town to the college. Both a center of arcane learning and my place of work. I was speeding along skating down a path of ice. I stopped by the bakers to grab some bread and then a bear claw to stop ama from yelling at me.
 
I grabbed a cup of coffee and curled-up in my favorite armchair, waiting patiently as I perused my book.
 
I arrived at the college, and thent he lounge chill as usual.
 
I looked-up when he entered, and smiled at him. "About time you showed-up." I said, closing my book. "Mary being curious again?"
 
"When isn't she?" I said handing her the bear claw.
 
"Uh huh. Well has the boss man handed out the jobs for the day yet?"
 
"And... we're gonna do.... this one." I said blindly pointing.

the objective I pointed to was a mission to the northern monolith graveyard.

"Alright that sounds fun."
